I've spent countless hours playing this game and I've put so much into it, yet I find myself still enjoying the game after putting large amounts of time into it.
Fallout 3 is one of the greatest games I've ever played. I love the storyline, the settings, the graphics, and the gameplay. Also, the freedom you're allowed in this game is vast.
The introduction immediately sucked me in. You're in this sketchy utopia of subtle crime and corruption when suddenly you're rudely awakened by your father fleeing the Vault you grew up in. You step outside and stumble upon the Capital Wasteland. The first view you get of the landscape is awesome. One of the primary aspects I enjoyed about this game was the instant feeling of actually being trapped in this torn and lost world, broken by nuclear warheads.
The variety of enemies is engaging as well. You never know when a Deathclaw could be lurking behind you or if a band of Raiders is hiding amongst the rocks.
The roleplaying elements are elaborate as well. Perks, skills, attributes and gear all contribute to your characters design within the game. Will you be a stealthy thief that snipes from afar? Or will you be a powerful melee practitioner who smashes foes with his/her mighty sledgehammer? Or maybe you'd like to wonder the wasteland as an unarmed boxer, beating the hell out of those that stand in your way? I know I was all three of those and more!
There are also five expansions that, altogether, add another thirty hours of gameplay. Each expansion is unique and laced with an intriguing storyline.
Also, there is an element of morality in the game known as "karma." You can be a goody two shoes and disarm Megaton's bomb or be a cold hearted bastard and trigger a mushroom cloud. You can be both, too!
I enjoy playing games that involve a post apocalyptic settings and being able to shape, create and mold a diverse character in such a scenario was almost unbelievable.
Despite some bugs and glitchy gameplay, the amazing features of "Fallout 3" will definitely leave you satisfied. I know I am. I still play it after almost a year of owning it!

A gory good time but the bugs will bite you faster than the enemies.

Great addition to the Fallout family! A lot different from the first 2 of the series! In a good way.
