nearly there, but not quite

the point lookout add on is in my opinion one of the best, it offers actual exploration and immersive qualities. you are playing on a mysterious swampland filled with hillbillies and other tribal religious folk, they are satisfyingly quite difficult to put down, there are a few weapons to use but none of any greatness.

there are a few side quests and then there the main quest, it plays out defend the mansion, go to the cathedral and get in with the tribal folk, go back to mansion and speak with desmond, then go to underground cave, then do a tedious maze to get these punga seeds, then back to mansion, then choose to side with mr brain or desmond, go to lighthouse and kill mr. brain (or not) basically i personally thought it was quite linear, tedious and repetitive.
and most of the places on the map, there are about 30 of them, theres a fev caves, shacks, dumpsites, etc and there are mainly external small places not much to explore.

it's mainly the main quest that lets the potentially fruitful add-on down, and i truly wanted to enjoy it, but i truly couldn't.
