Check out the latest of Fallout 3 expansion pack, Mothership Zeta!
Dirty, stinking Aliens think they can take our crispy, nuke-baked world.....ha, let them try! Mwa ha ha ha ha! Loving the F3 world no matter what shape or form.
meh...the whole "aliens" thing is so over-used in games, I could do without it. (Not that mutants and government conspiracies aren't equally worked-over, but the Fallout 3 world has been pretty cool with a burned-out, post-apocolyptic setting...I wish they'd just build on that.)
cant wait until fallout NEW VEGAS COMES OUT ohhhhhh yeah its gonna be better than wack ass fallout 3 cuz the original makers of fallout are gonna make it BOOYAAAAAAAAAAAAA
As my last post got alot of hate, I think I need to clarify a bit. I have purchased and played F2, F Tactics and F3 and loved it. But I couldn't help feeling dissapointed about F3 because it had many flaws - 1)The perks were revealed BEFORE you met the requirements for them, cutting you sense of accomplishment, 2)sneak was overpowered, making all other skills useless (just sneak at point blank range and get the headshot no matter the skill in forearms) 3)the AI was really dumb (just hide behind a pole, wait for the AP to refill, enter tactical combat, get a headsot, repeat) 4) you could not influence the world around you no matter what choice you make (except megaton) 5)ton of money, no difficulty, 6) dialogues had the same outcomes 7)you are encouraged to take the "good" path In my point of view, Mothership Zeta just goes down the same line, not improving the flaws, but concentrating on repeating the mistakes. Did you notice they don't even feature any RPG elements in the trailer? just a shooter
awsome been craving more fallout, to bad I thought there wasn't going to be anymore DLC's after that last one and uninstalled.
Looks crap bro. They need to release a remake of Fallout 1 or 2 on the Fallout 3 engine. Because the existing DLC sucks. It's like Fisher Price's My First RPG.
It didn't meet my expectations. It wasn't better than point lookout or broken steel. I'd say its the pitt quality. I finished it in 3 or 4 hours...
Already beat it...It was short, interesting, but short...Could have been so much more, sadly it lacks a lot.
Personally I'm quite glad to see the level of support and follow up material that Fallout 3 is getting. It shows that Bethesda is serious about keeping the Fallout universe alive and well. For a huge fan of the Fallout IP who remembers the huge gap between 2 and 3 we had to suffer through that is a great thing. I cant wait to see what Obsidian does with New Vegas.
Fallout 3 is a kickass RPG, but im done with expansion packs, dont want to use all my space on fallout 3.
Wow, that's the first add-on ive seen that's actually looks different, all the others seem to just be more of the same while this seems to actually be different, if just a little
Fallout has got to be one of my favourite games this year, it has kept me interested and want to play more, i have completed all of the add-ons and am going to buy this one :) anyone agree?
@solidniko all the DLC isnt 'short' - Broken Steel makes the current game 'open ended' so technically is very long...as long as you want to play in fact...very cool DLC :) this looks great - great game!
is this worth buying? i have da pitt and O.A. and im gonna get B.S.(lol) and P.L. but most of the DLC is short so i wanna no how long this is
Oh man you guys are going to flame me. But I'm afraid it's a weak DLC. Possibly the weakest. It's dull.
This is one hell of a DLC, thoroughly enjoying it and the new weapons are really cool.8.5/10 for me as its not as good as point lookout, but definetly adds to Fallout with new weapons, quests, characters and an Interesting new area, which has more exploration than you might think for it only being an alien spaceship.
ive not got any of the Fallout 3 downloads, i have a PS3 =D, anyway, it seems that with all the expansions they have had out since Fallout 3 came out last year. Are any of the Expansions short in story. Im thinking about buying the GOTYE on PS3, or just getting them on PS3, Elder Scrolld 5, wow, im already enjoying the 4th 1 :P
Just played through in about 4 hours straight. I wont post spoilers but I'm pretty sure you'll like this one.
does anyone know if they released a universal fix for all those PC users who were having problems yet? i havent thought about this game in so long, since it stopped working on my pc, and this dlc has me pumped to get back into it
pc version will be best they will probably release it again with all the dlc on one disk. me thinks?
@crudmanIV I've just finished this DLC about 2 hours ago and I never found another Alien Blaster. I'm sure there will be one somewhere though if you took the time to explore more. There is however a similar gun near the end...
