ummm for the most part i think its gonna be worth it because new weapons and armor and there this thing on the mothership that repairs a weapon fully without having to use another gun with it so in this case i would repair my Gauss rifle from operation Anchorage so ya i think its worth it.

Its so worth it because new weapons and armor plus a new perk for aliean weapons and there is a reparing machine on board which i think you'll love it really is a must have so yes get the download.

I have played it and it is worth it the quest is great and you cool stuff like samurai armor and 2 or 3 alien weapons.
-
Absolutely worth it. Equal best DLC for the game in my opinion, tying with Broken Steel.

Amazing DLC completly worth it. Its worth it because its so diffrent everything is high tech. Also its my new house I store all my best armor and weapons there so no dirty waste landers can steal my stuff from my house.
MY HOUSE IS OUT OF THIS WORLD! -
There were a few new weapons, like 4... none that I used more then once because the weapons I already had (Terrible Shotgun, Perforator, Metal Blaster, Vengeance) were a lot better and more powerful... Quest was pretty linear too, and there was only one quest... construction was nice and the place looked cool, but it is tied with Anchorage for the worst of the DLC's in my opinion...

everything you can get in this addon you could get for free from mods for the PC version.

I would give 8/10. what you guys failed to mention is also you can get paulson's unique .44 magnum(no scope) and his coat and hat, a katana and winterized medic armor from the anchorage soldiers and not to mention a space suit!
its definitely a welcome change to the game mainly because it serves as a grim reminder that your world is trash now in that everything is so nice and clean around you in the ship whereas the wasteland/U.S. is a barren irradiated landmass. It's worth it. -
Yes, it is worth it. Onboard the ship you get a decent amount of XP and 4 new energy weapons (5 in a certain sense). You can get the Alien Atomizer which is an alien's version of a pistol. Next is the Alien Disintegrater. This weapon is like a Laser Rifle but holds 100 shots and is about as powerful as the Lincoln's Repeater. Then you can get a weapon called the Drone Cannon. This unique weapon shoots out a ball of what looks like blue electricity and explodes after a short period of time. Note: these 3 weapons all take 1 ammo unit per shot (I left the ship with about 1200). This next weapon takes 3 units of ammunition per shot. it is similar to a shotgun because it shoots out 5 or 6 shots in a spread shot. It has a 30 round clip so essentially 10 shots. You can get this weapon at the end of the expansion from the corpse of the captain sitting in the chair of the bridge after you kill him. This fifth weapon i am hesitant to consider an "energy" weapon. It is the shock baton and falls under the melee weapons skill. It is just like Jingwei's Sword from Operation: Anchorage. It has a decent immediate damage and does 2 damage for 5 seconds due to its "shock." And in the end you can always murder the people that you rescued and take their items.
You can also get the Alien Boigels. These heal for 18 health when you first get them but ask the doctor to refine them and they heal for 90 health, more than a stimpack.
The setting of the DLC was cool in my opinion. It was a nice change that you get to explore somewhere else than the wasteland. There is even a part where you get to put on a space suit and walk around on the outside of the ship.
In the end, I would say getting this expansion is worth it mainly because of the new weapons. Then again, if your character is not trained in energy weapons, most of the munitions are quite pointless. -
Yes,all the way. Go with the game of the year if you can. Trade yours in on it, or just borrow someone's add on disk for all the extra maps.Bigger bang for the dollor.
