Possibly the best add on content a game can have... continuing the main story.

User Rating: 9 | Fallout 3 Game Add-On Pack: Broken Steel and Point Lookout X360
With much more to the main quest and new land to explore, this expansion pack was great and action packed!

Broken Steel: After your decision to either poison the water, or purify it, your unconscience body wakes up in the Citadel 2 weeks later (After the end game credits). This now starts a new mission to stop the Enclave from nuking the Citadel and destroying the Brotherhood. This array of missions were non stop action and filled with new weapons and places to explore. As you work your way through the White House and Air Force Base (AFB) you come to find the Enclave base. Here is where the real fun begins as fighting is constant and intense. PLenty of places to explore and weapons and ammo all over, destroying the Enclave is as much fun as it would be to walk the Capital Wasteland with mini nukes. Plus, the A.I. is much more improved as I was attacked and hit with much more accuracy. Healing items were plenty, but well needed as normally 2-3 Enclave were attacking and striking me at the same time. Add in the occasional Deathclaw and it was WWF! The new landscape was beautiful to explore but the path was mainly linier, destroy the base and get out. But, as with all Fallout 3 missions, there is an option to destroy the Citadel as well. I decided to be evil and nuked the Citadel instead, sorry but the rewards were better and I figured the combat in the wasteland would increase if everyone and their mother was out to get me. I was right, once they realized what I did, the Brotherhood turned on me and almost everywhere I went, enemies were plenty. The rewards were good, but not as great as Operation Anchorage, but this was way more fun.

Point Lookout: Here was another signal to find out about a ferry boat that docks on the southern tip of the wasteland. This ferry takes you to a place called Point Lookout. After travelling for a long time, you end up in what looks like the remains of Coney Island in NYC. Complete with the giant Wonder Wheel and boardwalk. Here you need to find Nadine and report back to her mom on her status. As you head towards Colvert Mansion, the local folk, mutaed of course, will find new ways to stop your progess. These mutated hillbillies will shoot or club you with all kinds of new weapons which I promply took as my own. After making my way to the Mansion, I was asked, rather rudely, by Desmond to help him fend off the Tribal. The Tribal were trying to kill him and destroy the mansion. Wave after wave of Tribal attack and once it's over he sends you on a mission to infiltrate the Tribal and find out what's going on. This mission was weird as you find the Panga tree and seem to hallusinate, finding bobbleheads and weird scenary. Afetr thats over, your allowed into the Tribal hideout and find Nadine. She thinks this is all about drugs and not what she signed up for and provides the key to where the leader is meditating. Trek there and find he is talking to a holographic brain of Professor Calbert. After reportign back to Desmond you can decide to take sides once again. I choose Desmond for now, and attacked Calbert at his base of operations. Finally, after waves of Tribal and robots, I destroyed Calbert and received his vault key. (I shot and killed Desmond for kicks afterwards also) I was dissapointed in the rewards though because the new weapon was slow and covered up most of the screen and made it difficult to see. Oh well, at least the action was fun. Upon returning to the ferry I find Nadine has captured the ferryman because he was responsible for the lobotomy's performed on everyone and the hallusinations. So I shot him too. Nadien then would transport me to Point Lookout and back for free.

These two add on packs were very action packed and had plenty of new areas to explore and weapons to use. Great way to end the Fallout 3 series.
