@hassy94 umm no. xbox exclusives dont far surpass PS3 exclusives and definitely not inFamous. the only x360 exclusive i find to actually be worthwhile is Fable II. halo is way overrated IMO (i know a lot dont agree but I dgaf) And pc games dont have such amazing graphics as you seem to think. Though infamous' graphics aren't great but they are good and graphics aren't the main point of that game.

On this week's Start/Select, we head to North London to visit Rocksteady, the developer of Batman: Arkham Asylum. We also go hands-on with Infamous on the PlayStation 3 and give away copies of Battlestations: Pacific on the Xbox 360 and PC.
"Cool looking forward to Infamous looks amazing and also an exclusive so should have good graphics compared to Xbox or PC restrictions" Lol, did you just say that, games on Xbox have far surpassed infamous, albeit not Killzone 2. But, PC!? You actually think inFamous surpasses the best PC games in graphics? Go to the opticians, then come back and see if you feel the same.
Cool looking forward to Infamous looks amazing and also an exclusive so should have good graphics compared to Xbox or PC restrictions
actually i get a george cloony feel when i look at this batman's face. the game looks awesome and i got mine on reserve..might even pay extra for special edition.
number 1 game u must have low standards in gaming lol. it does look nice but can't compare to Prototype or champions online
They look like they have put a huge amount of effort into Batman and I hope it shows in the finished product. That is the number one game I am looking forward to this year.
that batman reminds me of Michael Keaton when he played bats :D the game itself looks nice and i hope that it will be great!
@sliny: Sorry, but one response is all you get. You're entitled to your opinion and odd view of my post, and frankly I could care less. I won't remember your screename in 5 minutes... I'll probably play these two games for over 50 hours lol. Nothing personal, I'm just not invested in this.
I'm glad that there's an exception when you kill SOME people, but not much, and still stay hero status.
@nappan 1.) I acknowledged a reputable site has already gotten and reviewed the game; I stated that IGN has the pre-release review exclusive. 2.) Do you understand the concept of exclusive reviews? Other outlets wait until the embargo date has passed before they release their official editorial opinion. No one's pretending anything, they simply respecting the publisher's request. You're not trying to pull a "gotcha gamespot"? That's what this sounded like: "Did Gamespot anger SCEA or Sucker Punch in some way, that this is what passes for news now?" Let me then rephrase my original response in a way that isn't so rhetorical: Just because one site reviews a game early and no one else does is because they negotiated an exclusive, and to imply that other media outlets "angered" the devs/pubs simply because they are still running preview content rather than a full review is acting like a "silly nanny".
Both of these games make me happy. Batman looked really polished back when screens surfaced last year, I'm guessing the delay was for that nice polished gleam. Depending on the success of this game maybe people will take licenses more seriously. As for inFAMOUS, everyone already knows that it's shaped up to be a great release, reviews aside the videos show a well polished and unique game.
@sliny: What makes more sense: 1.) Aknowledging that a reputable site has already gotten and reviewed the game or, 2.) Act like silly-nannies and pretend nobody already knows the game kicks butt. I'm not trying to pull a "gotcha gamespot"... I'm just saying that this is the internet, not a wet paper sack.
I have super-mega-high hopes for Batman. I mean - DUDE >Mark Hamill: The Joker >Kevin Conroy: Batman There is no way this can go wrong. Still, crossing my fingers though.
Mark Hamill as The Joker and Kevin Conroy as Batman. This game better not let me down. I hope Arkham Asylum won't be ruined by bugs and glitches because my hopes are really high for this title.
@nappan What's more likely, 1.) that GameSpot (and virtually all other gaming media outlets) angered SCEA/Sucker Punch to the point where they aren't allow to review the game weeks before the release, or 2.) IGN bartered for a pre-release early review exclusive? By the way, GameSpot has gone on record saying they have a policy of not doing pre-release review exclusives as it they usually bundled with strict publisher conditions about the review environment itself. http://tinyurl.com/oq8aqa
InFamous looks wicked, although maybe not as good as Prototype, but we'll have to see. I like the idea of good/evil, but I'm obviously going to be evil, hehe! I mean it must be hard to see all these random civilians on the street and NOT kill them.
lookin good, might be the batman game of all batman games. Thankfully not related to a movie with raspy voices :P
@mardinn92: You can shoot lightening yeah, but also throw grenades that can explode... or use eledctricity to tie down enemies. You can stun or fry... drain the life out of people, call down MASSIVE storms, and grind and climb almost anything. IF that is limited, limit me. Sounds to me like GTAIV/AC meets Crackdown, meets Spiderman. Toss a spear of water, or a bolt of lightning, if they have the same result, where is the gameplay difference? After you play games long enough, ESPECIALLY shooters and hack&slash, and you'll start to look past the "skin" companies put on gameplay. Necros shoot black magic bolts... Pyros red ones, etc... Still, it's just the same bolt. THAT is boring. Playing a dozen shooters in a dozen years, with the SAME dozen weapons is boring.
Excited I am.... but puzzled? I've already read the IGN review for inFAMOUS (9.2 I think?) and pre-ordered it. Did Gamespot anger SCEA or Sucker Punch in some way, that this is what passes for news now? @cionfucioussayyo: Lol yeah... solid 10's from everyone? I'd be in line at the store for the first time in my life if that ever happened. Batman looks better and better, the more of its gameplay that I see. I love the elements of tactical stealth; moving through the environment above the enemies, and not ALWAYS the "Sam Fisher in the Thick of It" method. Both are fun, but we only get the latter! This could be a beautiful thing, or a terrible dissapointment. inFAMOUS just looks incredible, plain and simple. The worst thing I've heard, "occasional pop-in... but then, there are no loading times after the first one". No loading times in an open city... with the power to powerslide rails and lines, shoot electricity, drain life, save life, and essentially ruin or save the whole city? Sign me up!
InFamous is about an electric-based superhero. He's not going to shoot ice or fire at people. Besides, he has multiple attacks, grenades, rail sliding, lightning strikes, etc. @ solidus: If you refuse to consider buying a game before it's been released and you've had a chance to play it, AND you go on to refuse to buy it even if it gets perfect scores(which no game ever gets; no game is perfect), then you are a fool. You should at least play a demo or rent it before passing such judgement. EDIT: Look at chR666's last sentence. "I guess I'll just have to wait and see for myself.". You should do that as well. You'd be suprised what games are good when you keep an open mind.
InFamous is good but I mean only one elemental attack? Add Fire Blizzard Toxic I don't know but just add something else... the gameplay will be repetitive
Something tells me that Arkham Asylum will be a Batman game of a different breed, it looks too sick man.
I like x360, but I have many friends with ps3's, so its good 2 see sum good ps3 exclusives like Infamous.
InFamous look great. awesome! And plays great as I saw in demo. Better than gta4, assassin creed and crackdown combined!
both games look awesome. And I believe at this point, it's always good to hear a game being delayed. I have enough games to play and wait, please stop the rushing!
uhh... Infamous looks terrible. I don't care if it gets 10s across the board. I'm not buying it. Batman looks surprisingly decent though.
like always... great games take a lot of Space from the PC since Batman AA is one of the new 2k9 games
Batman looks like it's gonna be one hell of a game, can't wait. But would wait if I had to, I wouldn't want this game to be rushed or anything. About inFAMOUS. My honest opinion is that, well maybe I haven't watched many gameplay videos, but it doesn't really look that special. I guess I'll just have to wait and see for myself.
It would be awesome if Infamous could have a insane combo system like God of War or Xmen Origins videogame. Easy to pull but fun to do and watch.
WOW ...i cant believe im going to say that this BATMAN game is actually going to be the BEST (fortunately) and Infamous is gonna be awesome too! only problem i have with it is that i havent seen any hand-to-hand combat yet >_> i mean it would be cool to throw some electrically powered punches and kicks right?
Both games are going to be very interesting,but... as a big fan of the games that include "free Run" like the Prince of Persia Series,i join the side of the inFAMOUS
inFamous is the renaissance of the new eon of Open-World Recreations. If you understand what I mean!
@ Express_Diablos - They will go onto Unreal Engine 4 which Epic are currently developing for the next console, i.e Xbox 720
