The long-awaited Fable is finally complete. Does it live up to the hype? Decide for yourself after watching our exclusive video review.
Fable was a game i had the most fun with, as far as games overall go, with GTA being the second, or next to it. Now don't think when i say this that fables' 2 and 3 sucked, they didn't, but i had more fun with part one. I think its because it was a game of firsts and its atmosphere, feel, etc. I know this sounds stupid, but if they remade it but with more (like adding much more options, feautres, items, things to do, quests, etc, etc etc), like a Fable 1.5, then i think a lot of people would love to pick it up.
@deantivakul 10 hour campaign in 2010 was average. KOTOR clocked in at around 20-25 hours, as did Jade Empire. Ocarina of Time was over 40 hours. The length of Fable isn't what makes it great -- it's the impact your choices have in the game world. Being able to literally interact with anyone you come across, regardless of if they were part of the main plot or not was a remarkable feat and was one of the things that made Fable so great. I've played it for a bit, and despite it just feeling like the "grab quests, head out, complete them, report back to the guild master's hall to grab more quests" style game, it still seems like it has a lot of potential in the later levels. @MALMSTEEN4774 Fable I is the best yet, Fable II came close, and Fable III really only is worth playing just to catch up to the story for any sequels that may follow.
Fable 1 was the only REALLY good fable game. The other ones were ok since then. I don't know what they are trying to do with Fable: The Journey. If its on rails witch it looked like it was at the demo. Then it fails. It also all ready fails cause its a kinect exclusive.
@deantivakul Yeah but these days, most games include multiplayer. This one didn't.
When i got this game i came home put it in my xbox then sat in my gaming chair and played until i beat it, took me a day n a half doing all the side things
short? finish in 10? oh in 2010, 10 hours campaign is a really LONG game.
"albi-on". why didn't he just say albion in the way it's pronounced in the game? Fable 1 is so under-rated, I've never had so much fun playing a game.
nope i don't have 3670,ps3,or high end pc but i want to play it and zelda is great
@mitchd3 Have you played Dragon Age yet? My top five rpgs are Zelda, Jade Empire, Dragon Age: Origins, Fable, World of Warcraft. I've never played kotor so i cant really rank it.
This game was so epic
@Drano5050 yeah i have my top ten rpgs that are kotor, jade empire, fable, final fantasy, kingdom hearts, elder scrolls morrowind
Back in the day...
This is the best RPG game EVER! damn i want to get xbox 360 to play fable 2 and 3!
@mitchd3 yea, jade empire is one the best rpg's ever, in my opinion (Top 5 maybe)
Hell yeah this game is one of the best I have ever played. I miss it.
besides kotor,morrowind,and jade empire
this my favorite rpg game ever
one of the best games ever made
i f'n love this game its so amazing
@TNAFUTURE999 Can I play it?
@Gamelova08 what about it?
One final hoorah for the best reviewer ever!!
Fable lll?
lol at 6:25 he says most enemys dont pose a major threat and then he keeps getting hit by the golem
If any of you out there feels like buying this game on x-box live, do it! This game is worth it's money
Just started playing Fable last night, pretty good so far, cant wait to go through and play as an evil character though :D
Back then gamespots reviews were a lot longer. Now there just lazy
This review is very accurate to my standerds. The only doubt I have about all fable games are there shortness inn the main bodied quest
this looks like sims >_> with a little combat
I think the review here was fair at the time. But as time goes on, we've seen the game was better than many first realized.
a game that you might not be playing for many many weeks... I'm still playing fable!
this is the best rpg i have ever played =D
This game was beautiful ^ ^ one of my favorite games ever! :D
thats awesome Kman8909, Fable was actually thefirst game i got when i got my 360. since i never had an original xbox it was a title i always wanted to play but couldn't. for the three years now that i've been a 360 owner it's the one game that was never traded in my collection. that and Jade Empire. Brilliant game, the second is awesome too but I feel more at home in the original Albion.
I may sound like a nerd but I actually loved this game. I remember when I first got it. I played it for like a week straight. I beat it within the first two days but I kept playing, maxing out my hero's stats and buying every building I could. It was good fun. I then sadly scratched my disk somehow (It could have been my brother) and I went without it for a while then I saw Lost Chapters and quickly bought that copy and now I still have it. I've probably played through the game at least 5 times and I love it every time. ^_^
only got the 20 gb i mean
gonna download it from xbox live bu need to get bigger hard drive first only the 20gb lol
I just bought this game at the boxing day sale.
Maybe i should check this game out.
what do you mean looks so cool. You never had this??????
This looks so cool!!!
i wasn't really into this game. the fact that leveling up magic and other skills get too costly that you end up with 7 or 8 skills and powers that aren't really that strong
Fable
