I remember playing this game a few years after it came out and thinking to myself "wow ...this game is amazing", and I still think that to this vary day. Now for the story, here is where Fable is best, it crafts an emotionally compelling tale of heroism, destiny, triumph and tragedy. I have to admit that I was moved by it, I think Peter Molynex did an outstanding job at making the player care and feel for the characters and the plot, as well as leaving the player thinking about the choices he or she made and how it affected the overall outcome of the story. Another great thing about Fable is its atmosphere, you really do feel like Albion is a living, breathing world, and exploring it is a joy. I also loved the score, it really sets the mood and adds layers to the already captivating plot. I guess if there was something I didn't like about Fable, I'd have to say that it would be how combat can be a bit of a drag in some areas, but that's about it for complaints. Overall this is a fine game that anyone who loves RPGs, even if they are light, should not be without.
