- Jul 21, 2008 4:36 pm GMTSkorm's bow...I can't get it I read a few guides. They say neutral sacrafice at 12:00PM. Evil sacrafice at 6:00PM. Good sacrafice at 6:00AM. I can't tell the time on fable so can someone help I really want this bow.

i dont think that if your good its 6am its never worked for me. its best to have good alignment to get it easier.
6am is when the needle splits day and night
i always sacrafice my people at the same time 12am.
12am is when night is directly over day and the arrow is in the middle of night. its best to hire the mercenaries because they take money away every hour so when the needle is in the middle of night and when you see your money start to go down then sacrafice the mercenaries.
this has always worked for me and i usually have about 1/4 good alignment
- Jul 21, 2008 6:33 pm GMTSame here. I try to get it but never, even on 12an. I made a post called Chapel of Skorm Ironic saying that instead of getting the bow i got the 2 other things: Nercomancer and 9 Years of age decrease, but I'd rather have the bow because i already have the paladin title and I don't think Age does anything
- Jul 21, 2008 7:33 pm GMTI followed someone's advice on the Fable: TLC board and got Skorm's Bow on my first try (and this was after multiple failures using other methods). The advice was to get Willow's Pickhammer from the Demon Door where you have to perform an evil deed (eating 11 or so crunchy chicks). After that, they said to go to the Demon Door in front of the Hobbe Cave, where you have to get your Combat Multiplier above 14. I did this using the Shield spell, then holding X to charge the bow, all the while dodging enemies until I was ready to strike. I managed to get a CM of 17 in one hit on the Earth Troll, then I quickly ran to the Demon Door to open it and get the Cutlass Blutane. It might take you a while depending on your stats. I don't know what advantage having those two weapons gives you, but I gave it a shot because I really wanted Skorm's Bow.
After getting Willow's Pickhammer and the Cutlass Blutane, I hired the merc in the Bowerstone South tavern as well as the merc near the graveyard in Oakvale. I then took them to the Chapel of Skorm and waited there until midnight (the arrow exactly in the middle of the night half of the circle). I saved when it was getting close, in case I messed up or it didn't work, so it might be a good idea. When it was exactly midnight (you'll know because money will be deducted from you to pay the mercs every hour, on the hour), I sacrificed the mercs, one after the other. My reward after the second sacrifice was Skorm's Bow. - Jul 21, 2008 7:35 pm GMTIf you're doing it at the right time, you should hear a man yell "Lights out you 'orrible lot!" and that's the time to do it.

Whatever, you know, it doesn't really matter right now, because you, are rock solid. - Jul 21, 2008 9:14 pm GMTIf you're doing it at the right time, you should hear a man yell "Lights out you 'orrible lot!" and that's the time to do it.
That's in TLC, it doesn't happen in the original release. Just follow the steps above by Bugeater. You don't need Wellow's Pickhammer or Cutlass Bluetane, though. It's not a bad idea to go ahead and pick them up anyway, as they are good early game weapons.

I already have Willow's Pickhammer and the Cutlass blutane I'm trying to get all the legendary weapons. I still have a long way to go but Skorm's bow is one of the harder ones so I wanna get that out of the way but i dont get it. I keep reading different guides and getting confused one says do it at 6:00AM and one says do it at 6:00AM if your true good 6:00PM if your true evil and 12:00PM if your neutral but im not fully evil do I still go for 6:00PM is that when the night is on the right?

- Jul 21, 2008 11:04 pm GMTI got it at midnight and I was either neutral or slightly evil at the time, so I don't know if that had anything to do with my success.
You're correct. When it's 6:00 PM, the day is on the left and the night is on the right. - Jul 21, 2008 11:47 pm GMTI've always gotten in between midnight and 1AM, and by sacrificing a mercenary. Everytime I've gotten it, it's been the same. I've never gotten it at 6AM or 6PM, when I've tried.

and the reason i gave for getting those weapons is just so it makes the game easier since the other poster wanted tips as well, i say if you can get any bright armor (the bright will user suit for one) and have your guy in 2nd to 3rd good alignment or higher you should be fine.

They won't do anything for you in the awards at the Chapel of Skorm, Temple of Avo, or in getting through the Demon Door that wants to see an evil act.
