Fable: The Lost Chapters (Platinum Hits) User Review
- Difficulty:
- Very Easy

- 20 to 40 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Worth playing"
Fable is probably one of the best games out there. It has very engrossing quests, and really makes you feel connected to the characters. Like my dad in the game. He treated my guy well, and just had this felling like I was loved when I spoke to him. Then you get pissed when a bandit kills someone you were close to. You can also marry in this game. I immediately ran to oakvale, got married and had some "fun" with my wife at the beginning.
This game also makes you feel insanely powerful. If you choose to go evil, you will be able to CONSTANTLY hit over 1000 with your weapons with a spell called berserk. If you choose good, you really do feel like you have the power to save the world.
The aging system is kind of cool, but late in the game I was grossed out by the way my guy looked. He looked like a 80 year old man, balding, with horns and red eyes because I was evil. The good guy just looks old.
Now for the bad. This game gets insultingly easy at the end of the game. I killed the FINAL FREAKING BOSS IN 7 HITS! Also, the parts where you feel that a specific guy should be powerful, he isn't. Fighting Maze and the guildmaster for example. They both are very easy, and you don't feel challenged.
So, I would actually give this game a 9.25, but I will give it a 9 because it doesn't deserve a 9.5, but a 9 would be a little better.
