1 Like An overall good franchise gone to H.E.L.L.!! How could they make it "only" Kinect compatible... This is SO wrong! Think of all those Fable fans raging because they need to buy the damn Kinect device only for this game... Makes no sense at all!
Played all 3, but this one is a good exception to stay the hell away!

Hey, what about make a fable game that happens on Modern settings and its a first person shooter and there is no magic or meele weapons,,, THE FUTURE!
I was sceptical at first about the use of kinect with Fable.But, after just playing the demo,Im buying it. It really makes you feel like your part of the action. Its responsive and accurate and most of all FUN. Instead of making all these cookie cutter shooters rich, I want to see more stuff like this.Remember when we use to get unique games like Oddworld. It use to be so diverse and fun and complex. Now its just pull the right trigger to fire. And games that TRY to give you a different experience get pissed on before they even get released. If we're not careful all we will have is shooter A,B and C.
1 Like The only reason i bought xbox 360 was for Fable, i love the first fable for xbox. But i was not to happy about Fable III. AND this one.... while tell u the truth i will trade my console for a ps3 games.
I for one think this game looks awesome and I can't wait to pick it up - love the concept!
Don't think I'll fork out £100 for the kinect and then £40 for the game. I don't like Fable THAT mcuh
2 Like In fairness fable 3 was great...until you realised that your actions consequences didnt matter in the slightest and that the game was over just when things were getting interesting. Why they thought that reducing the game was a good idea in an rpg franchise is beyond me. It wouldnt have been too bad if their were some good side quests but there was nothing...and now a kinect exclusive? All fp action? The hell is wrong with them? Thats liking establishing a successful football franchise and then turning it into womens volleyball.

Make some awesome, forward thinking games. Partner studio with massive publisher. Lament over terrible sequels pushed out by clueless publisher. Make a new studio...
Looks like they put some effort into this game. Too bad it's Kinect and on-rails and bound to suck for those reasons.

I was happy with controller ,what have they done to this series fable 1 and 2 both were so awesome games

In game, get rid of the gloves idea. Fable TLC was the best. Go back and stop with the direction you are going, Fable 3 was a flop so this one will suck more. Which? does not seem possible.
Get a real conversation system BTW! That fart stuff is old and is terrible.

1 Like Just going to take you up on 2 there. Bioware only sets us up with a name. The rest is up to us. From there name, appearance, to their personality. Just because they give them a name for us doesn?t make that character not ours

2 Like Love the quintessential British humour that shines in all the Fable chapters so far and the quality of the voice acting that just gets better and better. It's just a shame that unfortunately the control system hasn't gone down a path of innovation over evolution, with Fable 3's combat feeling like a series of quick time events rather than resembling anything interactive. Here's hoping The Journey makes something extraordinary (AND immersive AND responsive) out of Kinect. The Albion world deserves it,
I really think the best thing microsoft can do is make Kinect possible games. That it's up to you to choose wether you're playing it on Kinect or with your controller. Cuz there are so many games I'd like to play, but I just don't like Kinect and they're losing money on two products instead of only one... (I'm just saying)
this makes me really want a Kinect.... I love Fable.... and even though I found the last game as an insult to me as a fan I still plan to fallow the series.... I just hope Kinect isn't required
