What a load of bull. He talks about freedom, but fable 1 has been by far the game with the most freedom out of the fable series. How can he not realize the flaw of advocating freedom when you can't choose where you can walk!!

Check out the Kinect compatible Fable Journey stage demo, here on the GameSpot stage.
wait a min.......he says its not on rails, but the onfoot sections are!! like house of the dead etc where the camera moves for you and you only blast the enemies etc unless anyone else knows otherwise, it looks totally on rails!
The guy demoing the game is wearing glasses because he doesn't want people to recognize him because he looks like such a jackass.
Does anyone actually want to look like a jackass when they're playing this game? Imagine how embarrassed someone is going to be when someone walks in on them playing this game and the silent awkwardness that will follow...
The only game that i loved in the series was Fable...and the rest were nowhere near...Peter you just turned yourself into a fool
Dewsbd01....TES4 Oblivion....it is first person...(can be third person) and it worked...and its open world...and fallout 3....FONV....yea...all those were good...and mostly played in first person
No, No peter. Fable one and two were perfect, fable 3 was your team at lionhead trying to copy fable 2 and it sucked, but it was o.k. But there is no way, NO FU**ING WAY THAT YOU CAN MAKE A FIRST PIRSON OPEN WORLD RPG. Well done Peter, you have destroyed your best creation. You are seriously going to lose customers with this. I hate you P.M. I HATE YOU
wtf happened this is B.S. what happened to the rpg aspect. how the h*ll are u supposed to do what u want to do when ur tied to a pre-set path. and what if just what if U DONT HAVE KINECT!!
Peter Molynuex should not be designing games anymore. If any of his family members are reading: "We the gamers demand you force him into early retirement and place him into a home". This demo is absolutely boring. The fact tht Peter made a comment that sounded like it was absolutely revolutionary: "you get the option to turn left and right" says it all. The player was using magic to kill everything, but they all just stood there and took it, very lame. Peter, if I ever pass you in the street I will beat you with my Sony Vita.
looks good but you guy should make another franchise for it...i agree.....fable should be played with a controller and where the dog...why would you take out the dog???....can horse find treasure???????.....Lionhead im behind all the way.........Haters are a EPIC FAIL!!
freedom what a joke in fable 2 instead being stuck on linear levels like this you can put on a chicken suit and start sacrificing little girls and boy to the shadow temple in this you are stuck baby siting Theresa this is not a sequel its a spin off shame on microsoft
I have played each fable game in their entirety, and seeing this demo leaves a great sadness in my heart. How could you let fable be turned into a rail shooter! and on Wii! I wont be buying this.
Well, I have kinect and I am starting to regret having spent money on it. IMO, kinect games are no fun and I think this next Fable is not going to be an exception. Sadly =/
Also, used some sound effects from Black and White! (Really want number 3, to be closer than the original than to the second game.)
I must admit some scepticism, but this game does look graphical impressive for something from lionhead (Not that the graphics are necessarily the most important thing), and some bits of this looks very fun. I'll still wait and see however.
wait so were is it in fable cannon cuz anyone who read fable balverine order i think that area sounds cool
Peter Molyneux must be about the most boring man on E3, thinking he's head of microsoft game studios says something about M$ imho
I just realized this is only for Xbox, and it hit me...... Microsoft's stupid, making an expensive game only for Xbox that only acts as Wii game...
This actually looks excellent. I am very excited for this game. I think it actually might be the best Fable game yet. I would take an excellent on-rails shooter over an empty, mediocre RPG any day.
So Fable is now a game where I stare at a horse create road apples for several hours, and choose to go either left, right, or straight? MOTHER OF GOD.
I cant watch this!!! time and time again they seem to go in a completely different direction because they think the game before was fine. NO, the first one was the best and they should of buIlt upon that, NOT DUMB IT DOWN. Ive said it before, make it open world to get rid of the pesky loading that interrupts the great world they have created, create an epic morality system and story with some amazing co-op opportunities and maybe add some cool kinect stuff along the way. They should cancel this game before they ruin the Fable series for everyone because they feel as if they need to sell out to Microsoft. I AM NOT PLAYING A FABLE MOTION SPORTS GAME!!! MAN THIS MAKES ME ANGRY.
\ That may look like a backslash, but it is in fact a graph detailing Molyneux's actual contributions to gaming history, x representing time, and y being success.
