Modern Warfare 3, Halo 4, Kinect and Forza Motorsport 4 are featured in Microsoft's 2011 Press Briefing.
halo
jay, dog
Is tomb raider multiplatform?
tomb raider: it kinda seems like they over exagerated her voice acting, is it just me?
@Psycho2019 It's Bungie's last Halo game. New Halo games will be made by 343 Industries, which oddly enough is headed by a former Bungie employee.
WTF? Didnt they say that Halo: Reach will be the last in the series??
Mw3 : WHY AREN'T THE GRAPHICS BETTER!!!! It still look like Mw2 and Black Ops.... seriously...... Looks like crap -.-
the hell with kinect! it will never replace controls. EVER
So that's what you got for this year Microsoft, "We're putting Kinect in everything." LAME.
@quidditch3 right click on the one u want then go save target as... then u will be able to download it, cause im doing it right now

Why cant I download this? or any of the other press conferences
So why dont they just give xbox web browser?
DEFENITLY BUYING IT BUT ON STEAM OF COURSE!!!!
Halo 4 seems epic
The breach experience seems amazing :3 I love it already. But I've never really heard of many playing for the story. It's usually for the darn multiplayer...
Simply amazing. I didn't have enough time to get through the first few minutes but I hope the multiplayer is amazing.
loved the Klondike bar commercial. that was so funny :)
Well, it's decided: I'm not going to buy a Kinect until they figure out how to do allow you to move your character without relying on the traditional controller. They either need to take a leaf out of Nintendo's book and give a peripheral that has gloves that are also thumbsticks or something because rail shooters belong in the arcades for 50 cents a pop, not in my living room for $60 a game. This seems like it was less 'new innovations' and more 'please buy our stuff, it's kinda cool right? Just look at all the pointless crap that could just as easily be done with a controller. Hell, even the voice control stuff could be done without the Kinect. Just give us a download in a firmware update.
Fable The Journey, a rail shooter?
"The Dawn of a New Trilogy" had me excited. The reveal that it was Halo bored me to tears. Oh and lets not forget, it will have Kinect support.
i dont need With Kinect yet
i only stick with xbox cuz the control actually fits in my hand.
Plus and what is with all the kiddy games being shown at E3? It is sorta stupid and pointless
It seems like Xbox is just trying to become more lazy with the voice kinect
No Thanks I Don't Need Kinect !! With Kinect I Can't Enjoy Or Feel The Fun In The Game !!
To be honest, Sony's conference was the best, Nintendo was only talking about their portables and the incoming crap (Wii U), Microsoft about muliplatform games, Kinect BS and some new exclusives. Sony in other hand offered their vision for the future gaming and social networking and offered a recycled but yet new portable (PS Vita), and a bunch of exclusives that M$ will die to have (Nintendo is in a different universe by now... 1 Wii U per console...), I'll keep with Sony regardless their crappy and unsecure network, although it's free
@mrsniper83 Yh we Brits consider the American accent quite whinny actually lol
i dont know but i really dont like xbox 360's exclusives
Me 2..
I'm still not buying Kinect
MW3: SAME GAME, DIFFERENT GUNS. Ghost Recon: innovation, by including new features and taking the best from old titles. GOW3: Looks good. There is also now a reason for adults to have a Kinect.
Sony has so many great exclusives this year... and what to 'geniuses' at Microsoft answer with? Even more Halo milking! If you can find it somewhere in the pile with all this kinect crap. ''Lightsaber on!'' Jesus Christ.
Tidal_Abyss. Yeah i know, was only joking.was funny at the time lol.
ugh this years press con was a big let down....
@Tidal_Abyss, it was annoying, just most people won't admit it for fear of fanboy/girl attack lol. Thanks for mrsniper83 admitting!
@mikees1 - lol, yeah, I watch tennis,- and prefer women's, and I've been gaming over 20 years, it's just her voice in particular, and it was 'excessive' (moaning/screaming), at least to what I'm used to playing. (you can check my owned games list if you're curious).
I am so happy that Youtube (along with Bing) is coming to Xbox 360. I have been hoping and waiting for this to happen. I think being able to stream Youtube videos on to your TV is awesome. Bing looks cool too. Being able to search for anything you want, awesome. One thing though, I don't own a Kinect. Are you going to be able to use Bing and Youtube with a controller, or does it only work for Kinect? I think it's pretty stupid if it does, but if I have to get it, I will.
Also I wanna add that Tomb Raider looks cool but they really need to scale lara's voice down cause its really annoying, way too whiny.
If you watch during the MW3 demo, dude isn't even playing the game, the motions dont add up to what he was doing on the game....
Im a big xbox fan but they really need to step it up next year, and I already got rid of Kinect cause it just wasnt that fun after about 2 weeks.
The Kinect Spors demo was extremely painful to watch. And can they get any cheesier?
Wow. Microsoft blows. Ya think they would have learned from last year's horrid E3 conference. I guess not.
The kinect part is ridiculous !
I was disappointed in M$'s conference as well, however I did find a number of titles to get excited about. Tomb Raider, Gears 3, Forza 4, Mass Effect 3, ect... And I do agree that M$ drowned us with entirely too much Kinect content but if you take in the show as a whole, I understand their message: The xbox 360 will be your all encompassing entertainment media center. I would grade it a C+/B-.
Will probably be hated for this, but 2 minutes in and showing a game that will be on 2 platforms and PC, and a franchise that will be on all 3 platforms and PC eventually is not a great way to start IMO. And then the controller disconnect :) And then nothing but kinect... lame. Especially using it as a microphone, its $150 when the $30 PSEye has a microphone that could do that as well if you wanted it to (i use it as my headset online and its better than a straight headset sound-wise). Usually Microsoft brings a bigger presence, this year Sony and Nintendo were head and shoulders above.....
@cakobi94 however playing skyrim would be fun, i'm personally not a fan of motion controls, but i know a huge amount of people would enjoy playing 'normal' games with the kinect
@cakobi94 I think games tailor made for the kinect will be allot better than playing normal games, i mean some of the most fun and original games for the DS are the ones that utilize the touch screen, such as professor layton . But until they actually make full fledged games for the kinect, not just playing games that can be played with a controller, I'm not interested
if all of u noticed...the movement or actions in the kinect games are a little delayed to the actual human motion. This can be seen clearly in kinect star wars.
