E3 2011: Fable: The Journey Stage Demo

Since it's a Kinect game, it will have a wider audience appeal, and will probably sell well.

Still, I hoped "Fable: The Journey" was actually an action-rpg when I first heard of it.

fables font color totally copies Skyrim!! well its a good thing fable id going for the kinect, that just means less competition for Skyrim as if there was ever any competition at all. Ha Skyrim Makes all fable games look like little kiddy rpg games. Give me a thumbs up you Elder Scroll Fans!!!

That's why it's not Fable IV. It's just a side project.

how, how, how can anyone say that this looks crap. It's a game where you are just a random passerby instead of a hero. It's KINECT and teresa plays a major part. We may even find out whot her motive for helping is. For the last time anyone who thiks this is crap needs their brain checked.

Skyrim and Kingdoms of Amalur will bury Fable... very sad but OH WELL

this looks like its only a small part or an addition to a much larger game. or so im hoping.

I Thought he said we would be more involved with the world of fable, well A RAIL-SHOOTER isn't really more involved or in control. I really expected more from Fable

This is really cool. But will it be on-rails, or would the player get to control their character seamlessly, like what Pete said ("100x more involved")?

hmmmm.......i saw the gameplay..........it kinda looks like fist person...............well im a big fable fan because of the first one but this look like it will be an Epic Fail...com on peter what kind of creative directer are you.............you make me buy everyone of them but they are average at best you have the right ideas but cant translate them in the game it takes a long time to make a good RPG.........look at witcher and elder scrolls.... you cant even touch them and that guy in the looks like russel brand.....ok im done oooo another thing it the same thing over and over again it like you have to take revenge on everyone

Dang... I'm a fan of Fable, but this just... it looks like the functionality Molyneux wanted to include in Fable III. I know they said they couldn't include it for whatever reasons, so is this just them making a game to showcase Kinect-ability? It looks just like the story of Fable III: [spoiler] ambiguous, and without really any depth in the story. The amorphous "darkness" and it's "dark intent" or whatever. [/spoiler] So this is a prequel? An origin story? I'll keep an eye on it, but it's definitely a wary eye...

why are all these kinect games on rails? i want a game where i control my character and have some freedom

And Fable, as of late.

Looks terrible.. Do you not get to actually control your character? Because it seems like your path is chosen for you and you just wave your hands like an idiot... Wow am I constantly unimpressed with Kinect.
