Get the latest on Fable III straight from the head of Lionhead studios.
i cant believe some ppl still whine like babys cause some little thing was missing its good to express urself but not insult. If you didnt like the game just return it or dont buy the next one so u wont act like a baby and well i hope its cool and wat is natal???
This game is going to be great! I think the feature I'm looking forward to the most is going to be the weapon development. I'm going to enjoy making so many unique and awesome weapons it's not even funny.
I love the changes. All the innovation is really nice. Its going to be a game that I feel like I'm going to be in control. The loss of the health bar, the loss of experience, the way weapons grow, Its all genius innovation. Im really looking forward to this. Its going to take a few games to tide me over till the end of the year.
i think fable3 could use natal by recognizing facial features, and using them as a character's features. that would be kinda cool to me. wat also seems awesome is the weapon-crafting thing. i hope mine becomes something like frostmourne from wow! that would be sweet! im definately getting fable3!
shame they sound like really cool ideas but I just feel like he is doing his usual and none of those things will end up being in the game at least not the way he describes them
It is getting very interesting to see how games today are developing in stages. I just want to get the game and play. The Fable 3 is going to be good.
Peter Molyneux , my gf just said he was like the guy who comes to your door and attempts to sell you pots and cleaning products you dont need and could easly get better types of if you went out. His sales patter is second to none, he makes the games industry more interesting ill give him that. Im sure that fable 3 wont be nearly as big as he is making out. But it'll be a good little hack and slasher.
He's a nutter! His (false) words of promise oft disguise this fact, but this time you can see it clearly.
I wonder if anyone is going to try and charge an attack for 10 hours? It wouldn't even surprise me if someone actually would. If all the features actually end up in the game this time, of course. I love the idea that this game isn't finished, where other games are, and you can keep on playing.
i wonder how much of what he says will be crap this time? Fable 2 still didn't even deliver on half the b.s. that P.M. Promised for Fable 1 10 years ago.
First I thought WTF but then I saw how much awesome ideas are in this awesome game ESPECIALLY the unique sword trading system excites me so much. So much I think I just... never mind that was gross. Very very very gross!
I have personally played and Beat Fable 1&2 and I say they were both good games, not great...good. But this thing about POWER in Fable 3 has me all exited. No limit to power as long as you hold the button...thats genius. Love ya Peter. P.S. could you fix the dog bugs?
He really gets me interested in the game by the way he talks, but then I remember how disappointing fable 2 was so I really have to play it myself to believe it.
I felt powerful in Fable 2 when I could kill just about anything in 2-3 hits halfway through the game. It was cool for about half an hour, then combat simply became mundane and unexciting. Couple that with a half-ass story, and you've got yourself a mediocre game.
to me you sied make youer own pawer like ima fiering my lazea baaaaaaaaaa or one millens guns kill all enmes by you
Molyneux is wonderful gem in the gaming world, never afraid to try something different, he also emits such enthusiasm that one gets caught up in it, I am highly looking forward to this game now after this interview.
In this interview he talks about using touch so much and how he feels so passionate about that feature, he also feels so passionate about Natal. Why the hell wouldnt he pair those 2 together?!?
I have nothing but admiration and respect for Mr.Molyneux, the man is brilliant, one of the pioneers of video gaming. at least he's passionate about making his games.I can't wait for Fable III.
Whatever his "natal-support" is, i am glad that he kept fable 3 a control-based game. Though, the "natal-support" might not turn out as bad as i first thought (the coming of the bad-game apocalypses) because i get the feel that they are testing out what the natal can do so they might come up with something very innovative (hoping but not completely believing).
My four big issues with Fable 2 are 1. Bad Ranged Weapons 2. Crappy Magic 3. The Horrible Ending 4. The legendary weapons were horrible Even if only 2 of these get fixed then I'll be happy with the game.
I agree with everyone here and i mean everyone. I'm pulled between Molyneux being a genius, how he spends too much time trying too do something more diffferent and inventive, how Fable 2 had a big empty feeling to it, ESPECIALLY compared to Fable 1 which was freaking amazing. It's too hard to get excited for Fable 3. I was so excited for Fable 2 but when i played it i got real dissapointed. Please don't be another let down. =/ almost forgot, to be able to touch other characters in the game is simply genius. I also hope that they drastically improve multiplayer that they had on Fable 2 for Fable 3. Or just remove it all together. Honestly 1 more disapointment and I'll be done with Lionhead games all together.
Fable 3? Eeeehhhh. If they want to make it good then they should focus on more stuff to do in the world of fable. Oh and some platforming elements would be nice (jumping). Maybe some puzzle elements as well. Think Fable + Zelda / Jak + Mass Effect= Best game ever. No one will do it but it would make a great game. At least I think so.
fable 2 is like a beta in the fable series, lionhead is testing out their new stuff in the next gen so im pretty confident fable 3 would have much more content to it and from what ive heard of the story it sound epic halfway through tho not sure how peter will finish off the other half.
I'm not sold on all these fantastic new features... they seem illogical - unrealistic. I mean, I realize that being a fantasy franchise, I shouldn't exactly look for realism, but at a certain point basic laws need to make sense... I mean -- why would holding down a button make your bullet hit harder? Glad to hear the magic system has been reworked -- I thought it was horrible in FII. Fable TLC is still the best of the series in my opinion, it's lost it's "Fableness" since then...
"Theres a big battle, you defeat him." Umm.. you shoot him, the end. I was pissed! Lack of end game boss = Grandiose Suck
I don't understand why they keep it Xbox exclusive. Microsoft might be giving Molyneux free prostitutes. Good thing Dan Houser ain't so horny. ;))
i did NOT like the 2nd one at all,the first one was pretty good,so hopefully this one will be the best
Fable 2 suck if i compared it to the first one. The story was shorter, i've got the impression to play the SIMS game... The combat system suck a lot too... The DLC was horrible... We want a combat system with combo not just one button pressing... come on do your well job Molyneux.
Fable 2 was cool and all but it seems like it's going more and more downhill with each new installment
