Peter Molyneux talks about some of the new features in Fable III.
i liked his reason for making the sword "were tired of making weapons for you" also i like the idea of gettingf power halfway through the game i just hope that we will get to see our character from the last game even if only for a few seconds kinda like mass effect 2 ps i can not wait for the next developer diary considering how well this one went nor can i wait even for the pre-order to come out considering all the stuff we got from the last pre-order
I just hope this time we get to kill the villain ourselves, and choose to save or doom albion, instead of saving it no matter if we chose to be good or evil. And since we get to be kings it'd be nice to have a group of soldiers along rather than exploring the map all alone. (I mean that's not what kings usually do)
Aside from the lighting, it looks a lot like Fable 2. That being said, the lighting is definitely gorgeous, and if Peter can actually manage to pull off his vision without overhyping it before launch, we could wind up with a very nice game. I'll be buying it no matter what. :P
Hopefully in this your character can actually speak for once Instead of doing some lame dance to get this smiley face to reach the end of the meter
I love Fable! The 1st and the second and I can tell that the third will be a combination of the first two to make a great game, while bringing along afew great things to the plate. The first was perfection, I think. The only thing the second was lacking in was length and story. It was too short, and the story was weak compared the first game but other that it was a win.
I became a Fable addict after playing Fable Lost Chapters for PC. I think I have beat Fable 2 with many character remakes about ( not exaggerating ) 130 something times. Been playing a little more PS3, Wii, and PC games so I haven't played Fable 2 in awhile. I am totally getting this game and hope Pe Mol ( Yeah .. don't ask ) delivers on his promises completely this time.
I had Fable I on the original Xbox and I have to say that it was an amazing game! I missed out on Fable II cause, after playing it at a friends house, I found it kinda boring (my opinion only, no flaming!). This looks amazing, and I'm goanna get it :D
im pretty sure you start off as your kid from the second game, so I think your born into royalty, but i don't know. Looks like a pretty wicked game.
I hope for fable 3 that it will be longer.....but other then that i still want to get a few jobs before becoming king.
ow my god !!!ow my god !!!ow my god !!!ow my god !!! OW MY GOD!!!! U WELL PLAY AS A KING~~~GREAT JOB !
I just hope it tones down all the in game working and life and get's more into quests. 2 was descent, but it's gets really old trying to maintain a life in the game. I've got a life outside of xbox, I don't need a full life inside xbox. 2 sort of burned me out on that aspect. 3 looks pretty cool so far though.
Why are they stop to make Fable for pc? Of course, I don't know but i never will buy Xbox Elite 360 because when I unlocked, it will be hack but for week or mount and then it will crash and I will lose money. 500$ I will not buy it. I'm from Bulgaria and Xbox 360 is cost 500$. I think it's expensive. I was heard in America it cost 200$. I don't know but I will not buy it. I think in America it's more cheap than the Xbox 360 in Bulgaria.
I'm excited! Although I know that Peter Molyneux games are usually half baked, the Fable series is pretty cool. His games always at least have a charm to them.
Just as long as Fable 3 isn't victory by default. I hated that there was no penalty for failure in 2 - furthermore that there was no possibility for failure at all. And it would be nice if the dog actually did more than just find condoms. I hope the folks at Lionhead are aware of the bar that Bioware has set with both Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2. I want challenge goddamn-it.
Lol wow @Tyleman your comment makes sense but at the same time it needs to be fixed haha, but good point. THE WEAPON MORPHING THING WILL BE COOL BUT EVERYONE WILL END UP HAVING THE SAME EXACT WEAPON!!!!!!!!! ;)
Ya i'm one of the many fans of Fable i just want to know in this Fable will your kids that you have in Fable 3 will they grow up to be adults and will we have more than just 3 kids this time or can we have up to like 5,8,10, etc and if they do grow up how will they turn out with how you are like your good are they going to be good or if your evil and they gonig to be evil or is going to be on how you take care of them is how they turn out of be good or evil. The last thing to ask if they do grow up do they going out and a have family like you did.
am i getting my greatsword back and do i have to use magic or guns is what i want to know. also the story line better not be a rehash like fable 2 was (bad guy kills family, trained by old mystic, gain attention by performing in the arena, spend 10+ years in the enemy base, come back and then defeat the badguy). also PC gaming outside of download sites like Steam is dying. i went to my local stores for the Unreal Anthology first thing both GAME and Game Station had a single shelf to PC games while PS2 pre-owned had several and both store had pushed them to the back of the store floor out of the way of the wii,360 and PS3. the other three independant stores had just removed the PC collection all together as it wern't selling. i used to PC game alonside console but now i'm playing consoles more as few games for the PC interest me, there aren't any good FPS games that i can't get on the 360/PS3 anymore.
looks really good... they just need to take their time and make the game as smooth as they can... no rush.
I wonder why they stopped making Fable for PC D: I guess I'll have to save money for an Xbox to get all games I want...
Just being honest, I was sort of let down by fable 2. The whole deal with loading screens every five minutes really upset me, and the combat was not what I expected. With that said, this one looks like it could get me excited about the series again! (crossing fingers)
Lol I love Fable but he exaggerates to much, the weapon thing sounds awesome but I'm positive that a lot of people will end up having the same exact weapon!
I will play this if I can change the difficulty level. Fable games in the past have been waaaaaaaay too easy.
