Fable II Video Review

Combat feels way too easy and the game seems way too short for an RPG, I actually played this while taking a break from Oblivion which is kicking my ass, but Fable II is a pretty good looking game well worth the time even 5years later

fable 2 and 3 have thier ups and downs they are both good but when it comes to loading and way point they suck. it is a good rpg

Games like this show that their should be more animal companions in role player video games.

There's no mention of the epic musical score which accompanies you along your adventures adding drama to combat, intrigue to abandoned buildings or ramping up the excitement when the plot takes a turn.

AHHH Why is this game not out for PC when 1 and 3 are!?

I bought a 360 for this game and i love it. Even though i enjoyed the first one a lot more i still think this game is good and well worth your money.

I wasn't sure about this when I first bought it, since I had been playing oblivion and I found it a bit too silly but it wasn't too long before I took it less seriously and began enjoying the cheesy jokes and I was really getting into the story as well as the extra things you can do in your spare time away from quests like buying and selling houses for a profit definately buy this.. sorry I went on for a bit.

@Sever3225 MMO's Honestly? Have you ever seen Oblivion? An amazing RPG that beats any MMORPG any day. MMORPG's arent good at all

I love Fable......

I think rpg's are really only any good and can be rated fairly if they're a MMO. Some1 needs to make a world where people can actually run around together when they're online (WoW for instance).

It's not exactly amazing from a technical stand-point, and it is really easy. But I personally enjoyed the quirky and charming world of Albion, and found it to be a very fun and enjoyable game overall.

@ swavemente They're different games. For what it's worth, Assassin's Creed II has one of the best presentations/polish of any game I've played on the X360. I absolutely love that game. You get sucked into the atmosphere like no other.

@ swavemente, I have both and I recommend Fable 2. IMO, Assassins Creed 2 got boring real fast.

hrvatica_na_netu: I like the game, story is not so interesting as Fable: The Lost Chapters (PC) but it's worth playing. Gameplay is pretty easy. I don't like the fact that leveling of upcoming Fable 3 is simplified couse it's quite simple already. Well, we will see.

They should really have released this on PC, just releasing on Xbox was a poor move

the game is worth checking out. just bought it and so far, i like it. i'm not blown away by it, but it does have a lot of fun stuff to do. in terms of combat, graphics, and depth, oblivion (heck, even morrowind) is a lot better if you're looking for a fun, fantasy adventure game. but fable does some unique things that makes it stand out. just try to keep your expectations in perspective and remember that this is a game by peter molyneux which means if you take everything you hear in the previews and advertisements with high hopes, you're going to be disappointed (big promises; big letdowns).

This review sounds like someone is just talking to his buddy in the background.

stopped playing this after 2 hours, when i needed to make some girl love me for a quest...+ The combat is horrible easy. This game is for hippies, and i have no doubt part 3 will be the same

once again i am not able to watch this video because tom mcshea is in it but the game look really good too bad is not multiplatform

Still playing when i am bord but! Fable 3 looks awesome man the acting looks better the visuals looks better the touch system looks awesome and the combat is better in so many ways bro!!!! there is no way that i am going to miss that one!!

This review doesn't mention the coop. ANyone know if both characters level up?

I played Fable II for a few hours a day. . . until I got DOA. That game is way better. I spent 20 hours on DOA during the first 3 days after purchasing it, and its not because I had more free time as compared to when I was playing Fable II. The combat is better, the story is better, and the characters are better. I will say that I love the bloodthirsty growl or whatever its called in Fable II - I generally play as a "good" character but have had some fun at the Temple of Shadow ;)

onstan load screen is annoying, other than that this is a good game.

fable 3 is now on pc!!

Just started playing and all in all, it's a really good game. Very addictive with tons of things to do. I do suggest the first thing you do is turn off the glowing path, it cuts way down on exploration and finding treasure.
