The combat in this game is awesome! I love the one button combat. Slash up one dude with your sword, quickly switch to your gun to shoot the guy behind you, blast the guy next to you away with force push, and then go in for the kill on the first guy... All in 2 seconds :P
Um... wow. This game is not just a work of fiction, making timeliness of inventions irrelevant, but it's also a work of Renaissance myth, meaning that the entire point in this game is that there is a dichotomy between new-fangled machines and old-school hammers and swords. Heck, I don't see anyone complaining about the obvious issue of katanas, with that term used, in a Western world. And condoms have been used since before recorded history, using sheep intestines. The fact is, this is a game of legendary characters given modern characterizations in some cases, and ancient ones in others.
The only thing that is not really with the times is that you can use a condom, wear different clothes not in the 18th century and shoot fast pistols.
Whoever is playing uses flourishes too much. With the zombie-ghost pirates you can just kill them without using flourishes cuz they are like the weakest enemy (which is why they arent blocking). Bandits are much harder.
Ooh you can literally smell the testosterone in the air:roll: Look if you don't like the game at least give a valid reason instead of just saying "i don't like it cos"

18th century, but there are a few inventions in Fable 2 that didn't excist till mid 19th century. But if that was the case then the fasion and weaponry is all wrong. So it's a mix of the 18th and 18th century with a bit of flair from the 17th century.
