Review Summary

The Good:
*Great cartoonish graphics that is very pleasant to the eyes of players.
*Plenty of ways to express and shape your characters such as if you like your character to be scary or funny, obese or thin, pure and corrupted and good and evil.
*Both main and side quests are fun to play and it is dripping with humor and greatness.
*There are many gameplay aspects that seems to be a missed in its predecessor is implemented such as the dynamic world exploration and making your own family.
*Battle enemies with the preferred playstyle, like if you want to be your character a glowing wizard, a precise marksman, a brutal melee warrior or simply be everything you wanted.
*The dog companion has an emotional connection with you. It points you where are the hidden things are but also it morphs along with you, going to the evil path will also transform your pooch into a darker self and going to the good path will transform your pooch into its lighter self.
*Irresistible charm and grace from its cover and the entire game. The character model design is very cute and very good.
*Expressions are humorous in many ways, farting and pooping in the front of the crowds, that never gets old.
*Plenty areas to explore, each areas are vast and worthwhile to explore along with its richest and items.
*Has a promising rewards for unlocking several Demon Doors, finding silver keys and gargoyle hunting. At some point you can unlock a set of clothing or an astonishing design of a weapon.
*Several everlasting choices to be made throughout the game. Most of the times is about thinking about being selfish or giving away your luxury for a greater good. Choices are varied with far reaching consequences.

The Bad:
*The game starts off very slow because the first few hours drags you into boring walking and conversations. Also, like Fable 1, in Fable 2 you start off as a child and you are set to do crap favors from people in order to proceed to adulthood, during these times you'll get bored easily. And once you reach on your early adulthood, you to be sent on a cave which you'll kill some dumb witted beetles. Though don't worry, the game will grow on you as you progress.
*Long load times. Whenever you are changing clothes or weapons in the menu screen, it takes 3-4 seconds pause before it updates your current looks, aside from that, traveling to another area of land would take nearly 1 minute before loading you to that area.
*Morality is unevenly represented, as if to be good is to give gold while to be bad is to kill and steal, how is that very similar?! Also at some points the evil is more biased as you can take more pleasure in doing so.
*For hardcore RPG players, this doesn't have what they want, because it very linear to boost your character and it is possible to maxed out everything. You could always refund your skills if ever you changed your mind.
*Some great features from Fable 1 will be missed, such as the spells and quest boasting. The sophisticated combat in Fable 1 would be really been great and will be missed many ways.
*Linear weapon building, everyone would go for one weapon with all powerful augments. Or maybe just go for something legendary and not so unique because everybody has their own.
*Combat is too easy and gets overpower fast, though for first time play and if you're not really familiar on the Fable series, some enemies would trip you though as you grow more fond of the game, you'll realize that the entire game is too easy.
*Co-op feature will only slow your character progression and makes combat even more easier. The share camera co-op isn't very helpful and the seconds player would play as the henchman of your character, the henchman has more limited capabilities, he can't buy or use his/her main character as a henchman, as the henchman, you will use a preset model from the menu, you can gain xp and gold though its not a complex co-op.
*Some passive skills, like the Physique can lead to an ugly proportion of your character especially when you're playing a female. Its like your character is She-Hulk but way messed up proportion!

The Final Verdict:
Not for those seeking a hardcore RPG elements, but overall Fable 2 is unique and has something new to offer its fans.
