Great game for the fans, but it lacks that extram 'umph' to really attract the rest.

The game is good, no question about it. The grafix are nice, all of the cars and drivers are there, the tracks are varied (Monaco, Australia, Spain, Silverstone, etc..) and the races can become challenging with the large amount of cars on the track. But we are talking about the PSP here, nearly half of the games are racers so it will take a little extra effort to stand out.
Usually a racer sticks out from the rest of the psp games library if it has something special or does something really good. OutRun has the speed and drifting, Burnout has the crashes and WipeOut has the battles. F1 doesn't do any of these, its basically another Formula 1 game. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with that, but if you don't like the other F1 games, have ever played a F1 game or you are just simply looking for a racer, then i would recomend the others i have mentioned before to play something new and original. But if you love F1 games or are a fan of the sport then go ahead and buy it, no doubt you will enjoy it. But for the rest, there are more exciting titles out there!
HOLD ON! One clear problem with the game is the sound. The music is horrible: the music library is very short so you will listen to the songs again and again. And the game plays the same song again and again, you have to change the song every race if you want to listen to a diferent song. Weak!!!
