A must have for F1 and racing fans
Cons- Same career mode, hard to get the safety car out
I liked F1 2010 but 2011 is leaps and bounds better. The handling are a heck of a lot better let me tell you. 2010's weren't bad but the rear of the car was always so twitchy and it was so easy to lose it on the kerbs, but 2011 allows more car control for the driver and counter steer is actually possible where it was absent in 2010, anytime you had a hint of oversteer in 2010 you were basically toast but in 2011 its not the case. The racing has been more exciting with the addition of DRS and KERS as well as a much more consistent CPU (both in qualifying and race trim) has made it more fun. In 2010 I always found myself a lot faster than them in some tracks and them faster than me in others but codemasters has done well to remedy this and now the competitiveness from circuit to circuit is balanced. Never really tried the online mode yet but I have to say co-op career sounds really cool and I'm going to have to give it a go but I wanna finish my first year in career mode first. The career mode is basically the same from 2010 no new additions I was kind of disappointed about that. Another disappointment was the safety car, while a cool addition and concept it is never used because the CPU never or rarely makes mistakes and they only way to get it sent out is in your own initiative like bunching up the field on purpose and causing a huge pileup. Other than that is a must have game for F1 fans or any motorsport/racing fan. Just plain good fun!
