Check out the first footage of the game in action in this brand-new trailer!
this is good but can wait for 2010 code masters says that game will run dx 11 for pc's omg
Give me the CTDP F1 mod in rFactor and my G25 any day. This game looks very average.
Awesome game, Omg it looks impressive.
No F1 game can possibly beat rFactor and all its patches unless the same happens with f1 2010 oh and PKRazor from the trailer it looks like the pits will be blank(:0 enyway this is just practice for F1 2010 o the next gen consoles and pc
I have just a few requests from Codemasters (this is their first attempt at an F1 car). Please if cars crash leave the shrapnel from the car on the track like in a real race, and yes the pit lane activity we need more!, oh and how bout a safety car. Maybe even a red flag race due to crash (O.O)
looks like f1 world grand-prix on the N64. Now those were great graphics back then, but i really hope the wii can do better. maybe it makes up for it with great online play.
Yes this looks good and i like the steering wheel. But why oh why do these Formula ! games NEVER...EVER..fill the pit lane with other cars or even a pit lane box crew? why do tey always leave them blank? why when you come in for a pitstop, is it only your team thats in the pitlane and the rest of it is completly empty. it drives me nuts its just lazy production and something thats been going on for years with F1 games. i find it incredible that a sport with so much action going on in the pitlane has consistantly failed to draw any kind of detail into it. its like playing Fifa but without the spectators or lines on the pitch drawn in. sort it out Codemasters!!!!! ffs!!!!!!!
looks good
With motogp2 - 07, f1, forza and PGR being the only games i carry on playing on my machines im living in pure hope of this game. If it gets the wi motion add on included as this game started dev over a year ad half a go now (or so i believe) this may be the gme f1 fans like us around the world have been waiting for. Sony kind of got it right with the 06 version pn ps2 and psp and the ps3 upgrade 2 years later(conciding with the ps3 launch) was so so. Codemasters PLEASE make sure you dont make the game where the handling is arcade. PGR is the ONLY game that does this and does it well, for some reason noone seems to get the arcade balance right and games of this sort are always the first in the bargain bin, i cant tell you how im sick of seeing dozens of Race pro, grid, dirt, n4s, burnout and rallysport just overflowing the bin. Although i own all these games, ive got to say they end up and the bottom of my pile over just a few weeks and jesus i dont sell my games. Im digressing. All im saying is. Please dont make a game that starts to fall beneith games like transformers 2 in my game stack (yeah . . i actully bougt it after seeing the film drooling)
I don't know why but F1 games never interested me. But I love games like Forza and Gran Turismo. Maybe it's because EVERY SINGLE car looks identical.
Great graphics :)
Not exactly Rfactor, but with anything on the wii my expectation is low.
@miguel_paz This is the "basic" version for the Wii and PSP The PC version (nice to see a fellow PC gamer :) ) X360 and PS3 versions are coming out next year. Gives them more time to perfect those versions and codemasters doesnt want to crowd its release of DRIT 2.
Looks absolutely awesome. Please let this come to the states. I'll cry if it doesn't.
I didnt see a Brawn car in that trailer.
nevr imagined this one to be on wii
Well i am suprised by how solid the graphics look! i might have to buy this one!
i hope they do something better for PS3 and XBOX360 , more camera angle please,?not just the same and same , and more realistic graphics guys and F1 Legends with Senna , Prost , Mansel fore sure one optinal for content or New Title , imagine driving Maclaren F4 with Senna Yellow Hermet with Prost , Mansel , Shuma... in the same track !! Bring on !!
for pc please!!!!!!
i love that steering wheel!
looks good...
nice... the sky and the pit crew doesnt look good though. Still, i need THAT GAME NOW. :D
Nice!, About time.
looks ok for a wii game. Looking forward to seeing what they do with the PS3 version.
they will make one for the 360 and the ps3 in 2010

omg
The link at the top says this is wii
i would be very excited if i didn't have rFactor waiting for 2010 on 360 might get it on wii but will have to play demo 1st
pass lazy developers -_-
I'll stick to GTR2 and my F1 2009 Mod. no thank you Wii.
Closed circuit tracks leave so much available space to be used for some great graphics. Doesn't look like that is happening here though...lazy bastard developers.
It's a shame the last decent F1 game for consoles were F1 World Grand Prix for the N64 and the Grand Prix Challenge for PS2... even on PCs we suffer! GP3 and GP4 were fun but limited, F1 Challenge stinks, rFactor has a great 1979 mod but as a game in general it's disappointing. Unfortunately it looks like Codemasters will screw over the fans again :(. We've been suffering for ages, be it with EA Sports or Sony making their crap.
Hey everyone! Come check out my shovelware!! BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY!!!! *make good games N!
I think GT would fulfill the F1 needs on the PSP, but the Wii's F1 wheel (oh...another one?...) actually does look good even if it's just another pointless attatchment.
Lame. Looks like Sony lost the license.
So was that Wii or PSP footage?? I'd tend to think Wii because of the split screen bit. Hope so and hope the PSP graphics are better - that didn't look any better than the 2006 edition. Feel slightly disappointed now
