F-zero GX provides an array of decent modes and enough variety to keep you entertained for a long time.
Grand Prix is your standard 5 course race, There are several modes of difficulty. The first few difficulties will provide a challenege to newbies and F-zero veterans alike. While the harder difficultoes require superhuman skill to win.
Story mode is a solid mode that provides scenarios to provide a break from Grand prix mode. However, This can be ludicrously hard and unless you have tuned your skills to perfection, You wont be doing these on hard mode anytime soon.
A cool option is the "create-a-machine" mode that lets you create a racing model from the parts you have bought with your winnings from the other modes, You can also buy new characters for both single and multiplayer.
The emblem editor allows you to draw out any design you can think of to place onto your F-zero machine.
The controls can take some time to getting used to but this game is still well worth checking out.
