One of those games you sit down and play with great anticipation and achieves great yet creepy results.

F.E.A.R. is probably the second most anticipated shooter for me this year (right behind Resident Evil 4) and in saying so I was hoping this game would be a revolution to the FPS genre. It didn't quite achieve that level but, in its own likings, it was an amazing game. The graphics and sound are amazing and the overall gameplay was stunning and really creepy. I'm a huge fan of horror games and this one's a must have.

F.E.A.R. or the First Encounter Assault Recon team's newest member is assigned to deal with a situation regarding a military commander named Paxton Fettel who has gone insane, taken some kind of clone army and has been linked to them telepathically. It's up to you and you're squad to eliminate the problem and find out what they were searching for.

This is a great game. Period. It may not have lived up to the hype in some aspects (the plot didn't tie in as well as it could have) but when all things are said and done this game is fantastic. If you like horror shooters, this is a must have for you.
