For me: worked as an action game, not as a thriller.

While I personally don't think the game is very scary, it is fun as hell. A great FPS, whether you like horror or not.

This game is very clunky and feels very cheap. The only good aspect of this game is the enemy AI

F.E.A.R. has some neat ideas but doesn't utilise them as much as it should.

F.E.A.R is absolutely fantastic, proving to be as worthy on the consoles as it were on the powerhouse computers of 2005

F.E.A.R.'s horror vibe, creepy soundtrack, epic gunfights and unique combat make it an outstanding FPS.

While now dated, F.E.A.R. is a solid game, surprisingly so in a genre usually too hackneyed and obvious.
