    Did anyone think the controls in the demo were kinda lacking? There almost seemed to be a delay in the controls

    F.E.A.R. was the first game I played on the 360 two years ago. I'm just now playing F.E.A.R. Files. While good, the original and expansion are lacking with dated graphics and monotonous level design. The creepy moments were cool, but lost their effect by the end of the game.

    That said, I played the F.E.A.R. 2 demo, and I'm wholly impressed! Every aspect of the original has been amped up including the visuals, sound, level design and "Oh F***!" moments. I'd say F.E.A.R. 2 is a good 10x better. Let's hope the story follows suit and is also improved and expanded upon.

    I'm looking forward to F.E.A.R. 2, and it will be on my wish list.

    Man, I don't know what that guy told to you, I stay with my Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, and if you think it's hard to get used, it's because you like the easy way!!! If you think your mouse more responsive You should watch more gameplays from awesome video gamers!!

    I have to agree with some of the posts in that the game is a little lacking in the visuals. Compared to some of the more recent games it doesn't look as crisp but overall it still looks really good IMO. I played the demo last night and the supernatural part with the lockers and that invisible dude chasing you was awesome, I really felt scared during that scene. Hopefully they can iron out some of the gripes I had in the first one when it was ported to PS3 because it was a very lazy port. My guess is an 8.0 from GS.

    I dunno why so many people are bashing on this game. In my opinion this game is just as good if not better than the first FEAR and that's just in the demo. And yes I have played the first FEAR many times and enjoyed it every time.

    I know they have really focused on a fast paced immersive shooter, but the environments don't seem to play a larger factor in the game play as the preview videos suggestion, such as Red faction did with its incredibly destructible environments which could be turned into tactical advantages.

    Which takes you onto the detail in the environments, which seems a lil plain for such a high caliber title now. Maybe my standards are too high from playing fallout and crysis ... but even mirrors edge with its hyper clean modern look makes simple look stunning. So i hope they pull this one out of the hat and do "FEAR" justice.

    Loved the 1st one, very disappointing on this one. Was waiting for a second one for quite a while to be disappointing. The only good I see in this has to be the scary supernatural moments. That got me, nothing else.

    I just played the demo avail. on the PS3 Network. I know this is gonna be a big game but I can't say too many good things about the demo. Personally I think environment looks cheesy-everything looks like something we have seen out of a shooter 2-3 years ago. Not very realistic. Second, sound effects cut out in the middle of a heavy fire fight. This was a problem I experienced with the old game and if they haven't remedied this problem by now what makes me think it won't be a problem when the game ships.

    Very disappointed.
