Fun game

User Rating: 8.5 | F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin PC
F.E.A.R. 2 is a fun sequel to the original F.E.A.R.. Like the original, some of the corridor fighting got repetitive and the save point system was a little lame, though it only really annoyed me twice where the save points were far apart and there was a distinct difficulty in between. The lack of lean ability became an issue when dealing with snipers, but otherwise it didn't bother me.

While I had fun, I didn't jump out of my chair enough like I did with F.E.A.R.. I hope F.E.A.R 3, if there is one, is a little more scary.

One thing that did confuse me throughout the game play was the purpose of some of the weapons. While cool, only the sniper rifle seemed necessary. This interchangeability with weapons isn't uncommon with first person shooters and I'd like to see designers come up with a creative way to address this.
