F-1 Race

There are much better racing games out there.

F-1 Race was one of the first video games I ever played but now it just doesn't hold up. It wasn't that good when it came out and it isn't very good now. There are several courses to choose from and these courses are pretty cool but there is only two cars to choose from. Your choices are a good car and a better car. The only difference between these two cars is one goes about five MPH faster they even look about the same. F-1 Race does control well which is good but the good things about this game are weighted down by the bad. Such as your tough opponents which normally isn't a bad thing but you have to really master the simple controls otherwise you'll be spinning out straight into a wall. The graphics are pretty good for an original game boy game but they are nothing spectacular and the same goes for the sound. F-1 Race is an okay game but there is nothing spectacular and it gets boring fast.

  While the difficulty level was really annoying, I have to admit that this game was at times hard to put down.
