We unbox the Sony PlayStation Move hardware and look at the controller ahead of its September release.
She's cute. :) Turning back to the topic (hmph), I don't know why it feels like Sony threw one out as a knee-jerk reaction to Microsoft announcing Natal? Right from the controllers ("Hey, why don't we put glowing orbs on there so it works with the good ol' PS-Eye! No fancy new hardware necessary!") to the half-baked animations in what should have been the showcase games for the system? I mean, I WANT Move to be really good because I'm finally going to get a console and by all other metrics (games I'm interested in, Blu-ray) the PS3 is the better option for me, but now I'm hesitating because I would definitely like a good crop of casual games to play with my family, and so far at least in terms of production value, Natal games seem to have the Move beat. And the calibration part for the Move looks a little clunky. I don't know, I hope it gets better. I had to say this again, Jane is cute. :)
''So hardware-wise, you like the shape, the feel?'' (laughing) 'yeah yeah it doesnt feel cheap, ...feels pretty good'. Lol....I think Cocker found what he was looking for ;)
Jane is very beautiful.
um yeah I wanna controll that girl with my move stick.
she's hot :)
I was more focused on the girl than the controller. :D
im big on nintendo but sony did start first POWER GLOVE DOES NOT COUNT
nintendo is not making a wii hd,thats why sony did
FTR. Nintendo unveiled motion controls first. No record shows Sony having it before them. Only opinions and speculation. Not dumbing them down. They did a slightly better job from the looks of it.
Thanks for hipping me on the info guys @Ares360 and @Anoush13.
@N4Red_NYC your sort of right about the sixaxis but the did motion controls in 2001 with the debut of the eye but the eye had trouble with distinguishing the colors of the controllers thats now why they use LEDs and Nintendo stuck with infrared which you can use candle sticks if you really wanted to Nintendo fans and save a buck.
The box is cool enough just to pay $100 for!
@N4Red_NYC Actually, Sony did SIXAXIS technology since the PS1, but unfortunately it didn't get enough recognition, so they just stuck with the Dualshock. Also, Move has been in the making Since EyeToy was released, but PS2 couldn't handle it, so they brought it onto the PS3 :D
what th f...ck.. mean this??? is this for reali?????
@ mutley89, actually Sony already had the motion plus technology before Nintendo that is what 6 axis is.
wow it has a ping pong ball on it, I hope that santa doesn't bring this.....
I love watching girls play motion games :P
Very Nice british girl... Ops the box is nice!
kung fu rider?
Thats a rather sexy box.
why dont they use those boxes??
cant freakin' wait :D
Good stuff
lol Guy Cocker...lol
This time EU got it first! :D
it looks cheap.....
That is a terrifically shiny box. Apparently, one can see the camera crew reflected off its surface. Shiny packaging for the win, I would say. :D
cjasko94: speed and accuracy, closer to what's possible with a mouse.
Im PS3 all-day. Can't wait to get my hands on The PlayStation Move. Its more easy-going on the human-body then Kinect.
OMG!!! The box looks frigen awsum with its holographic-ness. Are we going to asume the PS4 will have triggers like the PS Move? I say yes we should. THEYR SQWISHY?! xD .... Sony cheap? ~_o where have you been lady. Why would Sony ever feel cheap, I think your confused with Wii or Xbox.
Ill be picking this up, because it's got a decent line up.
Is this actually that much better than wii motion plus?
who the hell would even want to play SOCOM 4, or KZ3 with some awkward controller, it's not like you'll be doing any motion with it
good point zero_beat I dunno why but I always fear motion control is more for casual games but then again it worked well for resident evil 4 on the wii as well as loads of other good games. I think heavy rain will be brilliant with move, loved the game anyway
Killzone 3, LittleBigPlanet 2, SOCOM 4, Heavy Rain, Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition, tumble, echochrome ii, Kung-Fu Rider, Under Siege, Dead Space Extraction, R.U.S.E, Time Crisis Razing Storm, Create, Tron Evolution, Sorcery, Until Dawn... Core gamers are being very well catered for already I think.
I am really hoping this is as good as it looks, I def think it has a major edge over Kinect. looks more versatile for games than Kinect which is basically eyetoy 2. Still not sure if it gonna be more for casual gamers or for us hardcore gamers as well....hope so
sorry responded to killzone 3 and not MOVE.
looks great i love fp shooters, kz2 was great, played through it 3 times. and the ending was very challenging wasnt a cake walk at all. u had to have a strategy, and thats what i like. kz3 looks better, Ill be there day its released. All we need now is a resistance 3, what would be better?
looks pretty good but the silly spongy ball at the end i think will wiggle when u move so it will feel funny. But other than that looks great.
I need a new PS3
I'm excited for the additional applications that Move and Kinect will represent, but can't say that so far I've seen anything really inspirational, particularly amongst the typical "waggle" fayre we've seen so far exhibited on these machines. If applied properly to existing games that use a normal controller too, I think they could be great products.
I'm excited for Move; as DIgitalfoundry and other reviewers have shown it's the most precise and fantastic piece of motion technology amongst all the consoles. What it needs is great software to support it, and I think we'll definitely see some full-on games support it too. Awesome media kit case btw!
Jane douglas is seriously seriously fit!
What I learned is she is smoking!!!!! who cares about the move stuff, I couldnt take my eyes off her!!!!
well i learnt that the annoying glowing ball was spongy anyway, thought it was hard plastic up until now......
Move games that I want Killzone 3 LittleBigPlanet 2 Sorcery SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy Seals Sports Champions (FREE)
The Orb's spongy
I thought the orbs were a hard plastic as well. Surprising.
looking good.
lol... because of their accents I thought they were saying "Comfy Rider" ... then I saw the "Kung Fu Rider" on the side and went "Ohhh" :P
