Slightly fun experience if you already have the move controller.

All I can say is that I could have asked for alot more out of this game. They definitely could have made this one better for one of the Playstation Move's launch titles.

GAMEPLAY

This gaem is primarily controlled just like you'd expect. Just point your move controller at the screen and make a selection with the move button or play with your pet by petting it. The only problem is that the Move controller is a little too sensative. You can reach out to pet your pet. But then you realize nothing is happening because you're move controller isn't placed directly on the pet. It is either past or behind him. You then have to go through the trouble of pulling your arm back to line up your remote over the animal. Your remote also acts as your toy that can transform into various play things for your pet. This works alot better than petting since you don't have to be so exact.

CUSTIMIZATION

There are plenty of outfits to put on your pet. You can change his hat and shirt to one of many combinations. You also have the ability to change the color, length, and c olor of their fur. One problem for me is that there is only one pet. A little monkey would be easily passed up for another animal by alot of people. Maybe a nice lizard or tiger or something.

GAMES

EyePet gives you quite a few options in mini games. Players also have the option to take on specific challenges to earn anything from toys the clothes for your pet. One thing that stood out above others was the bowling game. You load your pet into a launcher, aim it just right, and fire him at some bowling pins as you try to break the high score.

FINAL THOUGHTS

EyePet leaves alot to be desired in a motion controlled game. The game has less than perfect controls. However it does have a few fun points that may make it worth a short rent if you dished out the cash for a Playstation Move. I don't recommend buying it though. There just isn't enough here for a long term experience.
