Unfortunately, the saying 'The best is always the original' keeps it's place in XG2

The review deck says it all. XG2 was a game i enjoyed, until i played the first one, and i thought 'What idiot would bring out a game with is hardly a fraction of the original? Really, it's almost the same in ways, except now they have exhausts. Whoop dee do. Lets get with the real review.

Gameplay:
Well lets start with the bikes. The normal original bikes are just too good, and the stats are way wrong. Apparently the bike Surge has really low top speed, yet, it's the fastest out there except super bikes! Too many bikes are way metter than the others. G-Spark and vex, G-Spark has all around with excellent on weapons, while vex has 2 excelents but with low on everything else. Mathamatically it doesn't add up! It makes no real sense! Nitro's (Boosts) last around 5 seconds and then you go back to your original speed. That sucks! When you go at the speed of sound, i admit, it's quite cool not bieng able to hear anything, but then when you get a weapon, a big booming voice tells you what weapon you have, which completely ruins the speedy atmosphere! And when you're going at that speed, 2 wierd little transparent cloud thingys appear in front of you! What is that ment to be? Going back to stats, there are 2 ships with almost EXACTLY the same stats! (Freeker & Honda Phaeton). Whats that about? You want a range people! Not 2 that are almost the same! Same with the super bikes! The stats maybe a little different, But they're all the same! You're working for nothing! Also about stats, in the book, they're different than on the game! Thats one major glitch! Multiplayer i admit is quite fun to play, with the tanks, but it's all too onesided. And why can't you play as super bikes? You earned them, so you should be able to bloody use them! The multiplayer cup, it's all really confusing to set up... so i stay clear from the whole thing completely. This is the one thing that REALLY TICKS ME OFF! In arcade mode, You're high score doesn't bloody save! Why have a track record, when it doesn't save? Whats the point in that! The modes suck and it feels like you're playing a prototype game.

Graphics:
Yes, for it's time, the graphics are good, for it's time. Except those 2 cloud thingys floating around at the speead of sound, and some of the exhausts in the wrong place (Wraith, Wasp, and Mooga) . Also,m Venoms exhausts aren't exhausts! Their rear lights! So much for super, whats wrong with that?
Yet still, it's acceptable and passable, so i'll forget about the glitches.

Sound:
Short and brief. They... SUCKED! They are all just wierd drumming with a quiet melody, they're boring! Only one sounds anything like a racing music track, and thats Hydra Prime. The rest feel like a racing tank game. The music on XG1 we're very good! It really felt as if you were racing, not sampling samples on an iBooks Garage Band.

Value:
I cannot brief, i forgot what it cost, but i'll guess it was expensive, and so not worth it.

Conclusion:
Read the top and find out for yourself. Nowhere near the game XG1 was. Slightly enjoyable for the first time, but it's so darn repeatative. Boring mostly, and an everchanging difficulty, so you can't learn or adapt. If you enjoyed XG1, stay clear from this, it might dampen your spirits for the prequal. Stick with XG1 people. That one was awesome!
