This game is very fun and addictive, I guarantee you'll fall in love with it as soon as you start playing it.

Gameplay (9.5/10)
The overall gameplay is very fun and addicting, but it can get pretty tricky at times. The game has you racing at high speed trying to get as many stars as possible, and the more stars you get, the better your rank will be. While it isn't necessary to come in first place, doing so gets you more stars than would any other place. Stars act as currency to buy new bots and colors. Then, there are mini-games… in any one race you throw a pie in a clown's face, knock down some bowling pins, or hit a soccer ball into a goal. There are also items, but I will not mention any of them here. One cool aspect of the gameplay is you don't need an item to use turbo, you just press a button… however, there is a limit to how long you can turbo for, and it varies with each bot, but exceed the limit and you will overheat and be unable to turbo until you cool back down.

Multiplayer and Online (8.5/10)
The multiplayer is okay, but it's sad only 2 people can play on a single TV. Luckily, there's support for online play using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, and you can play with anyone or exchange Friend Codes with other people and race them. One drawback is that, unlike with Mario Kart Wii, you cannot request friend registration within the "lobby" where you meet up. One advantage, however, is that there is a very generous 2-minute timer for selecting your bot and color.

Controls (9/10)
The basic controls in this game are very easy to learn, except for the button combination needed to do an Air Spin (D-Pad down and 1). Sounds easy, but it takes some getting used to. The controller configuration is like this: you hold the remote sideways, and it's similar to Mario Kart Wii in the fact that 2 is the accelerator. You use B (and/or 2 others on D-Pad which I forgot) to turbo and get more speed, and 1 is the brake (which you'll hardly ever use). The A button uses items (which I mentioned earlier) that you are carrying.

Graphics (10/10)
While the Wii doesn't have the best graphics compared to other consoles such as the PS3, this game has some of the best graphics I've seen on the Wii. The detail in everything is just incredible, and when you are going very fast (like when using turbo), everything is stretched out like it's just flying by at super-sonic speed.

Overall, I give this game 9.5 out of 10!
