Great Idea, but not so well executed
Black/White 2D, with action rpg elements (original zelda) -> color and turned based battles (classic Final Fantasy) -> 3D action elements -> turn based elements and so on are all good, but need expanding each. I would say it goes to quickly to 3D without honoring the benchmarks that made them possible.
The graphic evolution of the game helps the flow, as with the challenges created because of the graphics (some areas are not passable until you go to 3D) this is good for flow, but I wish it was more expanded on many front.
