- "Just plain fun"
I first gave this game a rating of 3.5. I was very disappointed with some of the graphics. They are fairly basic and I was expecting more of a 3D layout. But then a couple of months ago I decided to try the game again and it is everything I read about, and more. It is a fantastic and fun game. And the graphics, for what they are, truly work. I revised the score to 9.0. There is a lot of strategy to the game, but not too much that it distracts you from the game. The music and props, as well as the goal of the game, evokes the Bond film in its early years (e.g., Sean Connery years).
This game is like the Sierra simulation games (CivRome, Pharoah) except it takes the concept into the spy universe.
Games like this are rarely made anymore and I think the brains behind this game need to come back and expand this or make more games.
This game is still worth playing today. Enjoy!

Charming, but shallow, this tedious strategy game simply doesn't have that much there.

Evil Genius explores a field that is yet unknown to the world of games, a 007-esque game seen from the evil eyes

- Whenever you don't capture the investigators in the first mission, they seem to get pissed and start kicking a locker. I'm not sure if this always happens or not, but it's funny seeing them kick the crap out of an inanimate object.Posted Jun 11, 2007
