This game was given for free in my PSN account. As it has a great score (9 in Gamespot) I decided to give it a try. Specially with a length of 8 hours based on "how long to beat" web page.
Well, my first impressions were:
a) Good looking game. The lighting effect is great. Shadows are slightly poor given the texture. Overall good graphics.
b) Soundtrack: great score during almost all game. Really climatic well aligned to game atmosphere.
c) Gameplay: this is the only drawback in the game. Extremely slow motion. You have to walk for hours in a very low speed. Maybe developers wanted to give a sense of reality on this part. But I just don´t want to feel that I am loosing my time. And you really do sometimes.
d) Storytelling: the best part of the game. The story behind the game and how everything connects at a certain time. Very well done by the developer.
Storytelling and soundtrack largely outweigh the Gameplay issue for me.
This is the kind of game you can miss. Specially if it is given for free.
