the game is certainly not dead..
the activity of this board doesn't really mean much, most of the playerbase doesn't come here, and those of us that do come here don't post very often.

It's aliiiive!
Actually 4 of my friends and I just started playing again. It's available through steam and I see people every time I login. Can't speak for other servers but the one I play on still has people going, and not just veterans. I run into new players. Sure it's not even close to the population it had at it's peak but the game is very much alive and free btw. You can download and play one of the largest online games ever made for free. You do have to pay if you want access to certain things but if you are still playing by the time you might want that content then you are already hooked and will be happy to.

the game is not dead. F2P has got some players in the game.
Not sure if it works stilll but OLD Inactive Accounts were upgraded to Silvers when F2P went live. So if you had an old acct, you can be playing a $5 character for free pretty much. That of course would be limited to the characters you had already and NOT new ones you can make.

I played the ps2 version of this and I actually liked it. I may pick this one up now that having a pc that can handle it is affordable.

immortal evolution is a casual raiding progression guild on the trakanon server. we are lvl capped at 65, in the planes of power expansion at the moment and almost done with it. We are always looking for new and old players! go to immortalevolution.com for more info!
