Microsoft's final Consumer Electronics Show press conference on Monday night offered little of interest for gamers. Of the minor announcements made, the Xbox 360 maker confirmed that Kinect for PC would arrive February 1. As part of an interview with GameSpot, Microsoft senior director of marketing and PR Jose Pinero justified this price difference by noting that Kinect for PC is targeted mostly at companies that do not have a gaming interest. He went on to note that the kit comes with software development tools that aid in creating programs for the device.
