    Crisis and UT3 shows that we don't really need a Next Gen Consoles, but we still buy them and play them

    this game rocks! i have it, and i've beaten it about 4 times, and i've played it online for the ps3, and its worth the money for it.

    Sadly, this launch center seems to be filled with tumbleweeds. Such an awesome game, too.

    A competitive year for FPS, given Crysis, Orange Box, Bioshock, Halo 3, and UTIII all launched in the last six months.

    I've never played a UT game before but with the lack of games for the PS3 my PS3 is felling lonely.So when this game comes out I'm going to buy it if other people buy it or i'm going to keep playing my 360.

    for multiplayer part i would give 90%, single player is not really existing =)
    good work from epic but very pitty they havent implented alot of things the community does for ut1 & ut2k4... it seems like they dont wanna learn from esports community and this is a shame!

    still a very good game with a great multiplayer!

    I JUST KNEW THIS WAS GONNA HAPPEN !

    Just finished the first four hours play test session with my friend that received the Direct2Drive image. He had the same disappointment as the most of all gamers: Lack of other play modes and the weak User Interface resembling a Console.

    I agreed on the lack of more playable modes BUT I think I have a theory on this. As all the vast majority of AAA titles, Unreal Tournament 3 would be pirated anyway. So I think that Midway has released the FIRST part of the entire package. Then they will wait for 6 months or so then release the SECOND part of the package with the full set. Of course, destroying all the carcks and Keygens that were installed along the inicial release.

    On the console screen direct port, well this is also connected to the fact that due to piracy, Developers are now targeting the sales (and revenues) on the Console market first. Then they are thinking on the PC side (since the PC is much more easier and popular) to crack. So they seat on the Desk and say: Lets work on the console this Interface... console that action scene... then we copy all to the PC and voalá ! People will buy !

    Thats just play cheap. But thats where piracy is taking us. And cracking games leades to even MORE agreesive techniques (remember, SecuROM in BioShock?).

    So, thats the end for all of us.
