The novels are great, I don't mind any religious controversies it might provoke. What I don't like is this typical movie-based games. The worst part is that these games are sold.

I read the whole series... and i didn't get atheist for that. I think it's one of the best book series for children. I also read narnia's chronicle (1 to like... 7) and didn't get catholic.

Graphics are extremely ugly. They make games based on movies only to make easy money. Never liked any of these games.

Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this launch center!

Seriously. Golden Compass gets a launch center and games like Mass Effect don't? Who is running this website?

What annoys me most is that the audio cuts out sometimes.

I don't know I think it was a bit cruel honestly. I have no problems with the mini games or controls and what do they expect lyra to do? Pick up a sword and start slashing things link style? I like the button sequences at least it's not all hack and slash.

Well so far it's kinda interesting it starts out with a present day mission that isn't a part of the books and it's added some things that weren't in the movies but were in the books. I get the feeling I'm not that far in as I've only played for a couple of hours but then again it seems as if we've progressed pretty far in the story. But if they're adding stuff who knows what I could run into. I'm hopeing maybe they used some of the footage that was cut out of the movie.

It's not that bad. It seems too easy in some places even on normal but what I've played so far is fun! I have the PS3 version.

MeteorRockChopper, why don't you just let people read the book and decide for themselves is as bad as you say it is instead of trying to push your beliefs onto them. And don't give me any crap about "I'm not pushing my beliefs onto you" because if you werent, then you wouldn't have stared this argument. By the way, you dont have to write a book for ever response, there are people here that actually want to talk about the game.
