War is Coming Home
On November 9, 1989, the Cold War was supposed to end. It didn’t.

World in Conflict is the action strategy game in which players defend their country, their hometown, and their families in the face of Soviet-led World War III. In this epic struggle, you are a field commander leading the era's most powerful military machines in the heroic effort to turn back the invasion, one city and suburb at a time. This war isn’t on television. It’s on our soil and in our backyards.

The World in Conflict demo includes new content never before seen in the beta tests, including the first playable look at the expansive single-player campaign. The demo also includes multiplayer, skirmish, and tutorial modes.

Customers who pre-order World in Conflict will gain access to an additional multiplayer map in the demo and will be able to reserve their Massgate online account name prior to the game launch.

First, don't be so cheap and buy a good graphics card. They are reusable. I have a Radeon 9000 for example. This game rocks when it runs good. Even when it dosen't. Download it and wait a day if you have to because this game rocks.

I bought the game after I played the demo, and damn it's worth every cent. I won't say much about multiplayer, but the single player has a very good storyline with equally exciting gameplay (which gets more intensive later, trust me). While CoD4 and Crysis perfected the FPS genre, this one REVOLUTIONIZE the RTS genre. Go for this game!
