LOKI, A MYTHOLOGICAL HACK'N'SLASH, PLAY IT NOW!
A fantasy voyage through the great mythologies, Loki allows the player to take on the role of one of the 4 heroes of the game, each drawn from a different mythology: a mighty Norse fighter, a fierce Greek warrior, a powerful Egyptian magician or an Aztec shaman who masters the secrets of the spirit world.

Loki is a pure hack-and-slash in the true Diablo tradition. Gameplay is frenetic, and from the outset our aim was for there to be total aggression in the fighting.

I have a two month old pc, and couldn't even get the demo to install. From what I've heard, though, I didn't miss out on much.

Hash and slash RPG games are always my fav. However, there is something about this Demo that make me feel there is something not right.
    1. Graphic: although this game hardware requirement is a little more than that of Titan Quest, its graphic is much worst. There is virtually no physic within this demo at all. I hope this might be added in the final product. I max out all the Video Setting to see if it could get any better but it let me down.
    2. Game play has some improvement though. The Diablo's "square" inventory system is replaced by a pre-sorted list by type. It looks like you can carry an unlimited amount of weapons and armor... The mini-map looks a little bit too small. There is some logic problem with the same, like a wolf drop a sword or a shield (wolf doesnt use swords or shields).
    3. Voice acting is bad. Intro-cinematic is not good, in both quality and story.

Overall, They did try very hard to copy Diablo, adding some new stuffs, but I is just not as good. I rate this game about 5. For those who want a good Diablo-like RPG, I highly recommend Titan quest as an alternative for this game.

i couldn't play it at all, it's just one big lag: first my character moves, then moves the background, haha. tried minimizing resolution and turned out shadows etc, but still the same s***(my pc is quite ok). but the idea was quite good, de ja vu of old good rpg games.

The Demo Is about 2 hours of game play. I got mixed feelings about this one. I dont know if it's Bad or Soulless just doesnt seem to be an enjoyable game to play, Ive alwayed like'd hack and slash games this one is a Disapointment. Story , Voice acting , Visuals All seem to lack in meaning, its sort of when they made it they did it half the amount of effort needed. It's a diablo copy trying to Differ its self from diablo. The Demo from what i've seen does not want me to get the game. I do agree that there are some nice parts to the game blood spatter is nice apart from that i will struggle. But anyway i would give it a 5 or 6. Nothing Great

Another lousy demo for a game that is to be released soon. The game won't be in much better shape people and it will cost you. I have noticed that demos actually play better than the released games. I take it they haven't had time to put the bugs in and people will buy it and then start complaining. I won't throw away my money on games that are rushed to the market without having been thoroughly tested. I would suggest that other gamers do the same. The developers might just notice and start releasing a quality finished product. Keep buying and you will get the same old crap. Someone mentioned the bargin bin and I agree.

i agree with qwertynature the gameplay can grow on you but i perfer the WASD format and you should beable to look up and down instead of shifting to birds eye

Just played the demo and it needs to be polished graphically. Visually its got potential but feel gritty and graining, not like TQ crisper, cleaner feel. Gameplay can grow on you but loading times between areas stop the immersive of the game. I hear multiplayer is laggy and need improvements which may come in the form of patches. All in all the demo version of the game needs improvement, give it time it might improve or we might see it hit the bargain bin sooner than later.
