    I... do not understand how World of Tanks can be made into a "platformer". Are you referring to the platforming game genre? I hope that you aren't, as tanks inherently cannot jump. They just can't. Tanks do not have any method of motion for getting from one platform to another; they need stretches of relatively flat land to move around instead - hardly material for an exciting platforming game.

    And yes, money's more important to game developers in the end of the day. They have to put food on the table, after all.

    I'm serving in the IDF right now as a tank commander, and i must say this game really impressed me. the "realistic game/gameplay-friendly" balance is the best it can get. i cant wait to get into the whole squad based gameplay and to try real life tactics.

    Being a vet of the Vietnam war and now stuck in a wheel chair, I have been searching for a good to great tanks game for a long time. There was one good one but made the fatal mistake of not making it internet playable.
    Each tank in that game had to have a real person at each command point. Thus a 4 man tank crew had real 4 players inside and they had better learn to fight as a team or they were toast buy those who did. This game looks great especialy with 60 tnks on the field. You may not feel so pwerfull when facing down 4 enemy tanks at the dame time!

    I think that they could sell a lot more if they made it a platformer. It might ruin the experience, but isn't money more important to video game developers in the end.

    I have been playing for a week now and have to say, this game rocks. My only complaint right now is that there aren't many maps in the beta but I'm sure that will change. I'm hooked.

    I've registered in the site with my invite key, when i start the launcher and try to log in with my account details it says (incorrect email or password) although I'm sure 100% it's right also I'm not the only one who face this problem. can any one help me??

    I have been in the closed beta for about a month now. Yes you start off in a little tank and all you are good for is scouting and running around. Fun part about that is you run in circles and let the arties kill em for you. You gain exp for finding them and then you can upgrade to a better tank that fits your playing style......Overall I thinks its a great concept of a game, just wish it came out sooner.

    The game IS pretty cool and quite impressive for olde beta tester that had seen it from scratches.

    Do not complain so much and enjoy the best out of it. There are games in which you end up waiting 10 minutes for a game or in which the cheesy OPness of a nation ruins it.

    Try to build up knowledge around your opinion before ranting. Keep in mind that it is a very good BETA. Wargaming.net is working really hard to delivery an awesome fully released game

    honestly after playing this game for a week i can say the gameplay is garbage between the one shot arty kills from the other side of the map and shot that ricochet off of light tanks from tank destroyers and larger tanks. But other than that it is a cool concept
