World in Conflict™ is the action strategy game where players defend their country, their hometown, and their families in the face of Soviet-led World War III, delivering an epic struggle of courage and retribution. You are a field commander leading the era's most powerful military machines in the heroic effort to turn back the invasion...one city and suburb at a time.
The World in Conflict™ Closed Beta Test is available exclusively for all GameSpot members but we've run out of keys. You can still sign-up on the waiting list and if slots become available, we will send you a key to the e-mail address that is tied to your GameSpot account.
To be eligible to participate in the Closed Beta Test, your system must meet the minimum system requirements. Please note that as this is an early Beta Test and the game is not yet optimized for lower system specs. The finished game will be enjoyable on a wide range of PC system specs.
The Closed Beta Test covers only multiplayer game. Two maps will be tested during the first days of the test and these will be switched for new maps throughout the testing period. The finished game will feature an extensive single player campaign and numerous multiplayer modes and maps not seen in the beta test.
To enter the World in Conflict closed beta you will be required to agree to our terms of use and a non-disclosure agreement. The non-disclosure agreement is a legally binding contract that prevents you from discussing your participation in the test, discussing details of your testing experience, or taking any type of image or screenshot captures from the test.
