If you're betting bored flying all the way to your objective and then back again, press Alt+N, this will instantly skip you straight to your objective, or if your abjective has been completed, it will return you home.

Note - in some cases, this will take some of your fuel away, as if you'd flown there, and sometimes you may have to wait for ground control to stop talking before you can skip.
