Crashes constantly.

On primary PC (fully updated windows 7 and graphics drivers) using the steam version, this game fully updated, crashed the first time i unpaused, locking up my system. I tried on another PC and after a few minutes it did the same. Really freaking pathetic.
I would like to give this game a 0 since it didn't last more than 5minutes before a crash. I would like to point out this is the steam version only that did this. I have the DVD of the original and did not have such problems for couple hours that I played, before all the patches (didnt really grab my attention long enough probably would have given it a 5 back then). However I wanted Vae Victis and went through steam to purchase gold. I redownloaded and tried, but to no avail. The problems still occur.

I am disappointed. Although some might think it is unfair to rate the game based on what appears to be a problem with Steam, it is the company that has allowed the distribution through steam and should be responsible for the compatibility. After all I am shelling out money for this.

    Actually that would imply that the graphics were considered decent in 08 which they weren't. I can not overstate that the graphics for the main map look uninspired, bland, ugly, and boring. This is what ruined the game... Read Full Review
