The EU3 Complete Edition is The Masterpiece of PC strategy gaming. Period.

Paradox Interactive has been producing strategy games for years now, and always focus on an immersive, grand, in-depth approach in their games. The Europa Universalis series is the Flagship of the Paradox product line. What other game enables a history buff to guide any country that actually existed through hundreds of years of history? What other game models a historical nations economy, government, military, geography, and politics down to the smallest details? For a grand strategy gamer, the EU series is a must-have.

The EU3 Complete Edition (although, be warned, it isn't quite complete, another expansion pack is planned, hurray!) includes the original core game and the latest two expansion packs. Napoleon's Ambition simply extended the game's end-date to take into play the Napoleonic Wars, but the In Nomine Expansion added loads of new options, extended years of gameplay, and dramatically reworked many of the game's core features. The EU3 Complete Edition is therefore the perfect package deal for a fan of the series. Best of all, it is only 9.99 at Gamersgate, and you even get the Strategy Guides (hundreds of pages of information, and are a must-have for the series) for free from Gamersgate when you buy the game via DirectDownload.

I highly recommend the EU3 Complete Edition. It is simply the best grand strategy game ever made, in my opinion. Other games say they are historically accurate, but are usually just Real Time Strategy games (read: clickfests) with ill-fitting historically flavored costumes. If you want the real-thing when it comes to serious, detailed oriented, challenging strategy at it's finest, look no further.
