I think I know why people do not like to play this game and the reason why their giving the game such bad reviews.

I think I know why people do not like to play this game and the reason why their giving the game such bad reviews. I believe that the reason is because they are used to playing Giant Robot Games where the mech is so overwhelmingly durable that it can withstand tremendous attacks. However with this game you have to be quick on your mechanical feet. You cannot just stand around and shot at objects you have to bob and weave like a giant boxer. I have played this game and I have to say that it is pretty close to the series and it is interesting to see a possible history to the series. Overall I thought that the controls where easy enough to manage. I also thought that the story was funny but I am sucker for love stories no matter who lame they are. The only thing that I did not like is the ending was way to be continued. I’m not saying that I don’t like sequels but some times the game gets canceled in development and you don’t get to know the overall ending. Luckily they made a sequel and it didn’t get canceled in the process. But the fact that I had the anxiety almost gave me a heart attack. I really don’t see why fans of the series wouldn’t like the game and for first timers you I think you would enjoy the game if you watch the series and see how the mechs are supposed to move.
