I added this game to my Amazon wishlist back when it came out and never got around to buying up until this summer. I just bought and I have to say I am impressed.

From an artistic point of view, this game reminds me of Dark Cloud. Both the voice acting and the art look similar, and that's not a bad thing at all. It goes very nicely with the tone of the game, which is somewhat of a musical dreamworld.

I love game in which the context is political and the choices of good and bad are not as clear cut as other games. Every character has their own motivations, and they compliment each other well in the storyline and the gameplay.

The battles are very fun, and just when you think you've mastered how to fight, you get into either a tough boss fight or you level up your party and the fighting dynamics change just a bit.

All in all a very solid game, although I would say this is not for everyone. You need a little patience in the cutscenes since they can feel a little slow, "hardcore" gamers might be put off by the artistic feel of the game.
