A fighter that could certainly grab your eye.

Ok, to tell the truth, when I saw this game on the list of games i had no clue what it was. I had to check out the cover art before i remembered this game.

Yes friends the only time i had a Genesis was when i had the "Sega Channel"
So i never really payed attention to the names of the games they gave me on that channel i just sat happily waiting for them to update the game list with new ones to try out and beat(when possible).

This game came up on the channel and was actually one of the first fighting games i played. Now this game had some nice graphics and an actually interesting back story. It brought togather some of the "greatest warriors" through out space and time to duel one another.
Why you ask?
. . .
uh . . .
ok the monkey forgot, you'll find that the monkey has a bad memory, just not enough RAM.

but anyway they were there to fight and fight they did. I beat the game like once, and am not sure what on earth it was like but my experience with games has taught me to review what you know. so lets start with graphics.

This game is an older genesis game, but it's graphics still were pretty good. I think the best part was some of the inventive techniques of the fighters. each had attacks that were usually executed by similar button combos but they were all different i don't remember any clone moves. they all seemed to fit the fighters and they all seem to be different and i'm talking about special moves because all the fighters had similar kick and puch stuff.

so now on to the fun of it. well the monkey is a button masher(evil little blighters that hit buttons without thinking and just like beating the heck out of things) I thought this game was fun cause i would just button smack my opponents. if i came across a move i liked(by accedent) i would try to duplicate my button mashes to use it again and again until my opponent had no life left.

Final verdict!
this game is worth looking at if you want to play an old fighter for the genesis. but don't expect it to live up to any big name classics.

So Says The Monkey!
