The only game Sega needed to drop to twenty was it's football franchise. They sweep the rest of sports. ESPN NHL 2K5 is the most realistic representation of hockey to date. Explain to me how you can improve the graphics again? Well they did, the players are more detailed and the control is smoother. Players move smooth at all angles and speed. There's a new puck drop window which is cool. Basically the little things that have held this game back from being perfect have been fixed in this year's edition. I still notice the laziness sometimes though of fellow players going after loose pucks, that's something no hockey game has ever gotten right and maybe they'll work on this for next year. But still, the game is as close as it gets at this point.
